Made a trip to the bakery supplies shop in Taman Megah and spotted Fatty Crab. Having heard of its reputation, we decided to stop for a meal. The menu is pretty limited and I was rather surprised that they don't even serve a simple plate of vegetables (the green monster in me was rather disappointed). The crabs are cooked in 2 methods only: steamed or in sour and spicy sauce. Of course, we opted for the latter. This was about 900g. As you can see the crabs are not gigantic but they certainly pack

This was about 900g. As you can see the crabs are not gigantic but they certainly packed quite a lot of flesh! The sauce was excellent (although I suspect, contains quite a lot of MSG), perfect match with the slightly sweet crab meat. Definitely lives up to its reputation.

They serve a decent plate of fried rice. Plenty of wok hei, with crunchy vegetables (hooray for vegetables), fluffy egg, some prawn bits and chicken. (Fatty Crab is pork free). We gobbled this up in no time.

The aroma of chicken wings (they were frying them not far from us) was killing us but we resisted this time. Service here can be a bit arrogant, but generally quite efficient. The price wasn't too expensive (RM38 per 600g, minimum 900g).

I like to eat crab so much. After you peeled off the hard shell, all you can enjoy is the soft meat and delicious sauce. This restaurant offers one of the few best sweet and sour sauce you can eat. The sauce is best to eat while it is warm. You can also dip the toast into it and eat. It taste a bit spicy which is quite enhance your taste buds. However, you may need to wait some time for here as the crowd always starts from 630pm.

Restoran Fatty Crab has been in this corner shop for many years and this is still one of the most sought after places for crabs. Expect to wait for tables as there are just too many people. There are two types of crabs you can order. First is the sweet and spicy crab or the steamed crabs. We opted for the steamed crabs this time. The crabs were meaty and fresh. The steamed crabs allowed us to enjoy the crabs in its own sweetness without other sauce and spices. Also, look at the amount of egg roe

We like to drink the juices steamed from the crabs as it was very sweet. The crabs got really hard shells, we need to use the hammer to break them apart before eating the fresh crab meats.

Serve only Crab restaurant, they have several variety of cooking method for all the fresh crab. Chilli CrabNot like what the shop name mention, as you can see their crab isn't that fat at all, but who cares, as long as the meat inside is full and juicy.Among of the best in their restaurant is the Chilli Crab, it is spicy that it makes all the juice in the crab meat taste more sweeter, a good way of preparing it.

This is a restaurant which mainly serves only crab. They have not much choices of food available. In addition, the ways of cooking the crabs are very limited too.Although the restaurant name is Fatty Crab, however their crabs are not fat at all. Small-medium size of crabs, but cost quite expensive. As shown in the photos, 3 or 4 crabs cost around R100+ to RM200 (can't exactly remember the price)Furthermore, the taste of the crab is nothing special. But luckily their crabs are still fresh and eata

Furthermore, the taste of the crab is nothing special. But luckily their crabs are still fresh and eatable-.-

Except from crabs, they still serve fried rice. The fried rice tastes not bad.

The service and attitude of their staff is not good. Perhaps because they have many customers to serve.

Honestly, I can’t understand why they have so many customers since there are so many other restaurants can serve better crab -.-

One of the best crabs in PJ! This restaurant only serve two flavor of crabs. Its crabs costs around 600g for RM36. The crabs are meaty and tasty. Besides crabs, I also recommend its fried rice and chicken wings. This restaurant is packed with customers after 6pm. So make sure you go there early to enjoy to dishes.
