Beef fried riceKim Gary is always crowded and usually need to queue for tables especially during lunch and dinner hour. I seldom eat fried rice outside, but Kim Gary's fried rice is always in my favourite list. The rice is nicely fried and very loose with the strong ''wok hey'' aroma. Further with their very tender and flavourful meat, enjoy my meal so much. Their serving is usually very huge too, the meal can last me for a day without feeling any hunger.

Chicken chop bake rice with cheese @ RM18.90Kim Gary at 1Utama is located at the Rainforest, outside the open area. Luckily there is the aircon restaurant away from the smoking area outside. Cheese baked rice is their signature dish. It is served in a steamer basket on a tinfoil paper. You can also pick the sauce to be either corn cream or tomato base on to the fried rice. Besides chicken chop, there are also broccoli and tomato underneath too. I love their cheese very much, very sticky and flav

The chicken chop was deep fried and comes in a huge piece too, the meat still juicy and tender.

Beef onion rice with XO sauce @ RM9.50There are lots of varieties of food here from noodles, rice, snacks, drinks etc. The beef cutlets are fried with onions and XO sauce then serve with white rice. There is also a nicely fried sunny top egg. The beef cutlets are tender and very flavourful. I like the sweet onions too. However the XO sauce is little too spicy for me.

Matcha red bean milk tea @ RM6.50Besides the traditional Hong Kong milk tea and coffee, they introduce the Taiwan bubble tea too. Matcha milk tea with red bean comes in a huge glass and i almost need to stand up to drink it. I drink is rich of green tea fragrance and cooling. Kim Gary's red bean never fail me too, soft and sweet. However, both together is too sweet for me. I wish they can lower down the sweetness of the matcha then it will be nicer.

I love Kim Gary because they offer all the traditional street Hongkie favorites Even at 1Utama which has so many eateries, Kim Gary manages to stand and survive ever so proudly. Their outlet is pretty spacious and service's fast and efficient. As usual I dig into my favorites whenever I'm there - Nissin Noodles with Luncheon Meat, Wrapped Fish Egg Rice, Chicken/Fish Japanese Curry Rice, Curry Fish Balls and of course, the sandwiches and Peanut Butter Toast

I have always liked Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant's french toast, simply because it is so very sweet. Two slices of soft bread filled with peanut butter in the middle, dipped in egg batter before being pan fried to golden perfection. They put a square of butter before serving. Since it is made piping hot, the butter melts almost immediately. The golden syrup is poured generously over it. I usually ask for more syrup as I like my french toast to be swimming in ultra sweetness.

Overall, it is not necessary to add RM1 for egg rice because the sauce can cover all the taste, you cant taste the egg rice if you eat together with the sauce.

Fresh Lemon Honey Green TeaKim Gary is a Hong Kong Style restaurant which served Hong Kong style food. This is Fresh Lemon Honey Green Tea. The honey taste is very strong and there is lots of lemon slides but the taste very light, so this drink is more to honey taste. The drink is very fresh and cooling, the sour from the lemon make the drink not that sweet. Overall, the drink taste ok but is a bit over sweet, too many honey. This is cost RM4.20

Since Kim Gary is Hong Kong based cuisine, majority of its food contains pork. If you're not a pork person you can still choose other ingredient like fish or chicken if available. The pork scent was rather heavy which I'm not too use about and others in the bowl was just plain normal. Wish I have go for the fish fillet instead.

Kim Gary is known for several Hong Kong dishes and one of my favourite bread menu have to be the French ToastThe French Toast is prepared by peanut butter spread layered amongh 2 slice of soft bread, and then deep into whipped egg before toasting it over a pan. Once ready, thick and sweet layer of honey is spread all over with a small slice of butter on top. The dish is simply superb despite being simple. The portion was however smaller to others

Once I ordered this spaghetti set that came with a soup and a free drinks, I regretted. This was the worst spaghetti I had. The gravy presented a slight bitterness, the beef was tough, overall, this was not supposed to be served! The soup was watery but flavour wise, it was better.
