At first, I thought this was a regular doughnut topped in colourful flavours. However, when I took my first forkful, this turned out to be a thin sponge cake thickly topped with cream in mango flavour. The mango flavouring was a bit too sweet for me, and the texture of the cream was quite unusual, but in a good way. Priced at RM7.50, I thought it was too dear for a small piece of dessert.

The Malacca milled crepe cake from Nadeje is so-so. The crepe from every layer is still as delicious as ever. Having said that, the cream which is supposed to be gula Melaka in flavour, doesn’t have much taste. There is also a layer of jelly-like gula Melaka topping on the top most of the cake, which was different than other mille crepes, and it was rather enjoyable. The double chocolate mille crepe cake from Nadeje is absolutely amazing. Made from black chocolate crepe, the first layer has a luscious top of melted chocolate sauce. With dark chocolate cream and chocolate chips making up the many layers of the cake, it was simply delicious. There were also some cream balls on top. Priced at RM9.50 a slice, it was definitely well worth it.

The rum and raisin mille crepe cake from Nadeje is simply outstanding. Preserved black raisin soaked with rum, pureed to make the paste that makes up the layers in between the crepe, it was really really good. There were a generous amount of raisins dotting the cake as well. The top most layer also has a slight smoky caramel flavour. It is priced at RM9.50 a slice, and was well worth the amount paid for a satisfying moderately sweet dessert.

Was passing by PJ area after a light lunch and was looking for some dessert. To my greatest happiness, I was told by my colleague that Nadeje has opened nearby, in 3 Two Square. I immediately went there to grab some. First piece that I had was the original mille crepe cake. Homemade custard cream using the Tahitian vanilla beans mixed together with fresh cream, the result is indescribable. Nadeje is always the famous crepe cake at Malacca. Eeven people who doesnt live in Malacca go over there to have a slice of it. So could you imagine how powerful the crepe cake is. And now, we Kuala Lumpurian don't have to go all the way to Malacca to have a piece of it, we can have it here now in Petaling Jaya.
