Everytime when i visited genting i love to have the tendency of having visiting Gotong Jaya to have Dai chao over there, though it is more expensive than in Kuala Lumpur but generally the cost is still bearable for me. Finding a parking here is not a hard one, and seating is not a big problem too as it is very rare to see lots of people in one place. I ordered the Dai chao and it is quite good to have, very strong in its flavor

Second time of visiting the restaurants, i ordered the Chinese fried rice, the smell of the rice is so good, and ingredient is given adequately as well though not generously but it is good. What i like about dining here is the cool weather than comes together with it, and of course on top of that the restaurant is very clean and of course the service crew is very friendly and efficient.

I heard about the Durian tart here that is very nice so it is a good one to have, especially for a Durian lover like me. The tart is relatively smaller in size, but given the strong flavor it has it is really a good food that we should be having whenever we visit Genting. The strong flavor of the tart makes it irresistible but i do have to beware of the heat nature of the food so i won't have too much despite the fact thati love it so much.

Egg TartThis egg tart would be much more common than its other peers variety. With similar non-fluffy pastry skin and smooth yellow egg custard embedded in the middle, it still make a decent snack. However, it’s bit too dry to me and I find myself enjoying the durian tarts more for its acrid flavor of the fruit. Thus, it may overpower the egg tarts in this way, hehe.

Yummy Durian TartThese durian tarts are very nice indeed, albeit the look might suggest the other way, hehe. Thanks to my brother, who happen to be somewhere nearby Karak, bought this delicacies in ushering the new lunar year of 2013 For those who not a big fan of this King of Fruit product, fret not as it isn’t as pungent as the fruit itself, I would say it’s milder then. When I travel to Genting Highland, I always stop by Gohtong Jaya for lunch or tea time.This is one of my favorite, it is actually a chinese restaurant but for me they are famous for their durian desserts.You can easily recognise this shop with the huge durian banner.durian bomb, fried pastry with durian paste in it.I saw a lt people buy this in dozen.my favorite is this durian pancake, serve cold. love the texture as it come in few different layers. very nice for afternoon tea!!!
