Breakfast with my girlfriend on Sunday morning. This cup of Kopi-O is definitely affordable to drink by all Malaysians.Enjoyed the day with her and this is one of the tastier laksa (36 years heritage) I've had in Malaysia. Laksa lovers who will be in JB, do try this out within the basement of city square mall because it has traditional 古早味 laksa standard in Singapore.

Overrated Ok
The cafe was decorated in a stylish dark modern way. It was well known for its mille crepes, which was available in so many flavours that the cakes were displayed in 2 shelves. The place also offered free wifi. Water was available in the brown bottle on the tables.Mustang Durian Mille Crepe (RM9.50++) The cream filling was too rich but the durian taste was barely there. ...

La Casa Blanca has undoubtedly the best-known Moroccan food in Johor. With classic Moroccan prints lining the walls and the fragrant wafts of tagine in the air, this restaurant has an endearing, homely atmosphere that make guests feel welcomed. Of course, when at Casa Blanca, you have to try their famous tagines stews. It comes in fish, seafood, lebanese green bean stew, beef, lamb, eg...

Yuen Buffet Steamboat has a reputation as the bastion of seafood buffet steamboat restaurant. Despite offering only hotpot with 2 soup types i.e. chicken broth and spicy Tom Yam, there is a satisfying conclusion that this establishment knows just how to maintain the quality of their food with its no-frills delivery. A huge improvement is the comfortable setting at their new location, ...

I love their soup base that is not peppery and not too overly herbal as well. It's just very savoury and tasty. You order the bak Kut Teh by the claypot and you can also add dishes like Braised Pork Knuckles and stir-fried vegetables with garlic. You can also choose to eat with plain white rice or their savoury yam rice. I would definitely choose the yam rice as it is so good you can...

It was years ago when we last visited Malacca. The memory was still fresh with their warm Japanese hospitality & the taste of the food still lingered on... I remembered very vividly that they had a drum at the restaurant's entrance. The staff would gave three strikes to announce every guest's arrival & shouts of "Irasshaimase!" would echoed throughout the restaurant from every staff...

This is definitely one of the best find right at this food centre. There is always a crowd right in front of this stall. And, it is not difficult to tell that these people are their regular customers. They are definitely the fan of the delicious peanut pancake by this stall. A set of pancake consists of 5 pieces is only at RM 2.50. If you wonder, this is the only item available right at t...

There’s so much good food to be eaten in Malaysia. Each trip I take across the border from Singapore is short and leaves me wishing I had eaten more. At the risk of sounding like a brat, sometimes I wish the food scene in Singapore was less… healthy and sanitized. The dearth of street hawkers (except those pretend ones in Chinatown who charge more than the food court vendors in ...

This is a return visit to the outlet. The restaurant has quite a open concept whereby the tables are laid out without any dividers and you can see the entire floor plan just by looking up. This greatly allows the staffs to see any raised hand & will quickly attend to us. lolCrispy Shrimp Rice Bowl. We were not hungry so we just ordered one main to share. The portion is very generous. ...
