Our lunch was started with mango salad and tom yam soup. The mango salad was sour due to the green mango and there are some hint of chili padi around it. The mango was crunchy. The tomyam soup was delicious. It was really soup and spicy. It consisted of clams, squid and fish fillet. This dish is a must-order when you dine here. The main dish was the King Rama V fried rice that was...

My first try on the Tokyo Street No.1 Japanese Cheese Tart in Malaysia. Fresh baked upon ordering and they make in a batch. You need to wait 12 minutes in each batch. I love the fresh cheese tart, melt slowly inside my mouth. Crispy fluffy tarts with warm cheese. Totally worth RM 7.90 per piece and the queue to get it. Cool down with refreshing soft serve ice cream. Yummy...
Pastel, a little cafe in a Setiawangsa shop-house.Tacos are also a speciality at Pastel, filled with lamb or beef for RM18 per plate of two.'Texas Burger' with hand-pressed beef patty (RM16); the tacos & burgers come with fries. Perhaps not memorable enough to specifically travel to Setiawangsa for, but probably worthwhile for folks who live or work here.

Nasi Kerabu is one of the daily promotional menu here. Everything was rather alright, except the condiments weren't as good as I thought it should be. The chillies was good to go with the rice and I think it was almost the highlight. The rice texture can be improved.
Sri Malaya is a restaurant which is serving a wide range of western cuisines.Grill lamb chop This dish is the grill lamb chop. The sauce for the grill lamb chop is the black pepper sauce. It was very rich in pepper taste and will not be too spicy either. The lamb chop is tender and juicy too.
Moving to my all time favourite which is the pudding, they have got quite a bit of interesting choices as well. I kind of like the caramel pudding even though I am no big fan of caramel. Wasn’t dulcified to extreme, and I love it just as it is.Also great was the texture and the slight chill in it, Making this delightfully tasty.

Seoul (RM15.90)- Parm crusted chicken, fried egg, kimchi mayo, kimchi As usual, the favourable juicy chicken scores most the points here coupled with interesting addition of kimchi. Given that I’m a fan of kimchi, I was looking forward to enjoy this combination. As the egg yolk was runny in the centre, the base bun has soaked up all the yolk to the point that it became soggy. I p...

When I first saw many blogs detailing the great French food at Yeast, I have kept a wish to try the food here one fine day. But it seems the price is quite expensive here till I decided to walk in today to check out the price, when my friend wanted to treat me for my belated birthday lunch. I was bored of Mid Valley that he wanted to go originally.Cappucino-Hazelnut (RM 14) The...

Mumbai Delights, a restaurant serving northern Indian’s vegetarian cuisine, with their specialty being Mumbai's street food open recently at Plaza Mont Kiara. I had the chance to dine there with fellow foodies the other day, and it really gave me a new perception on what Indian dishes have to offer. Heading to Tankatsu for a meal is simply my dream comes true after their opening in Singapore. Negi Miso Hire Katsu Set is the porklicious meal I had sampled. This is called the Pollo con Mole, which is a whole chicken drumstick with lots of chocolate sauce! We did not like this, because the chocolate sauce was quite bitter, like dark chocolate. It was very weird, also because the sauce was thick. Even though the chicken was soft and tender, we couldn't enjoy it because of the creamy chocolate sauce that had leave a bitter feeling in the mout...

One of the dishes which the waitress recommended was the sizzling tofu. It was among the first to arrive after the lala soup, which I am not surprised as it is not too complicated to make. Contrary to what it's name suggests, this dish did not come sizzling. Regardless, I quite enjoyed this dish. The tofu was well cooked, as it was smooth yet firm. The sauce was thick and flavourful and it...

I had this Pandan sponge cake with kaya, served with a scoop of ice-cream and mangos as my dessert after my lunch meal. I love sponge cake and having it plain will complete me.
