One of the Penang famous street food is Duck meat kueh teow soup. I remember grandma always bring me to the pasar hawker stall to eat when i was young in penang. The presentation of the kueh teow soup looks exactly similar to the one in Penang. The duck meat is just that tiny and thin sliced on top. Surprise to see some ''duck blood cake'' inside too, luckily is just tiny sliced. The duck blood is tasteless and texture like jelly. The clear soup taste is great and i like their thinner portion of kueh teow which is different from the normal kueh teow they use in other hawker stalls.

Chee Cheong Fun OK Sep 25, 2013   (Related Review)

The chee cheong fun here doesn't looks that tempting compared to the one i ate in Penang. However, they uses the black sauce that is quite similar and i feel the sauce is not enough for the whole plate of cheong fun. I like the generous sesame seeds on top, very aromatic when bitten it. I forgotten the exact price but i remember it is quite pricey for this portion of cheong cheong fun.

Coffee cham Cry Sep 25, 2013

Penang One has recently open an outlet at Kota Damansara. I was attracted by their decorations with all the penang famous street food pictures and streets name as their wallpaper. Quite disappointed with their coffee cham. Although the coffee taste is quite thick but is just too bitter. The drink is very rough to swallow and i left almost two quarter unfinished.

Tiramisu cake OK Sep 25, 2013   (Related Review)

Wanted to try out the coffee here for quite sometimes but the place here hardly can find a car park space. The cafe has just 4 small tables, be lucky to get a seat too. Besides serving coffee, they also prepared some cakes and bits bites (i.e. wafer) for customer to chew on. The portion is not big and just nice to have some sweetness while enjoying their coffee. The tiramisu is quite unique as it is quite moist and creamy. The cake portion is quite minimal and more to the coffee taste.

Raspberry white chocolate mocha Smile Sep 25, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

Finally came here on Merdeka day for a coffee break with friends. I found this special drink at their black board menu - Raspberry white chocolate mocha. I was surprise when it was served to me with a smiley face and a Merdaka. I can feel the warm and effort of the barista although is just a simple drawing with chocolate gel. I love this mocha. The coffee aroma does not covered by the raspberry taste. The coffee is very smooth and the sweetness is just perfectly nice.
