罗宋汤 Smile Jul 04, 2013   (Related Review)

Beef fried rice Smile Jul 04, 2013   (Related Review)

Beef fried rice
Kim Gary is always crowded and usually need to queue for tables especially during lunch and dinner hour. I seldom eat fried rice outside, but Kim Gary's fried rice is always in my favourite list. The rice is nicely fried and very loose with the strong ''wok hey'' aroma. Further with their very tender and flavourful meat, enjoy my meal so much. Their serving is usually very huge too, the meal can last me for a day without feeling any hunger.

Chicken chop bake rice with cheese @ RM18.90
Kim Gary at 1Utama is located at the Rainforest, outside the open area. Luckily there is the aircon restaurant away from the smoking area outside. Cheese baked rice is their signature dish. It is served in a steamer basket on a tinfoil paper. You can also pick the sauce to be either corn cream or tomato base on to the fried rice. Besides chicken chop, there are also broccoli and tomato underneath too. I love their cheese very much, very sticky and flavourful especially the burnt part. The chicken chop was deep fried and comes in a huge piece too, the meat still juicy and tender.

Beef onion rice with XO sauce @ RM9.50
There are lots of varieties of food here from noodles, rice, snacks, drinks etc. The beef cutlets are fried with onions and XO sauce then serve with white rice. There is also a nicely fried sunny top egg. The beef cutlets are tender and very flavourful. I like the sweet onions too. However the XO sauce is little too spicy for me.

Matcha red bean milk tea Smile Jul 04, 2013

Matcha red bean milk tea @ RM6.50
Besides the traditional Hong Kong milk tea and coffee, they introduce the Taiwan bubble tea too. Matcha milk tea with red bean comes in a huge glass and i almost need to stand up to drink it. I drink is rich of green tea fragrance and cooling. Kim Gary's red bean never fail me too, soft and sweet. However, both together is too sweet for me. I wish they can lower down the sweetness of the matcha then it will be nicer.
