Macadamia Cheesecake Sundae @ RM11.90
I always thought it will be a piece of cheese cake with macadamia nuts, but until one day my cousin order this which makes me delighted to try it. It's actually a glass of sundae of vanilla ice cream and stuff with cubes of cheese cake at the bottom and top. Finished by generous of macadamia nuts and caramel liquid on top. Each spoonful you got a taste of crunchy nuts, salty cheese and cooling ice cream in the mouth. This is really fantastic.

Lemon Meringue Tart @ RM10.90
Usually afternoon tea will need some desserts or cakes to bite on while chatting with friends. Ben's has lots of varieties of cakes too. Walk to the counter and pick what is available. The lemon meringue tart caught my eye with the striking yellow and burnt spiky cream on top.
The first mouthful really enlightened me because the taste is so sourish and sweetness altogether. Mouth watering that makes me keep eating. The tart at the side is crunchy like crunched biscuit.

Belgian Fries @ RM9.90
Belgian fries is one of my favourite side order at Ben's. The shape is unique and i usually will bite it according to the lines for fun. The fries are well fried with the flavourful powder. Some of the potato skin is still visible, so fresh and crispy. Once started one piece is really hard to stop. Dip it with the special tartar sauce brings it up to another level of taste. Yummy !

Golden Soft-shell crab spaghetti @ RM23.90
I love soft-shell crab. Always can't resist to order once i saw it on the menu. The portion is quite big with 2 huge piece of soft shell crab and linguine. The soft-shell crab is nicely fried till golden in colour, so crispy and flavourful. The linguine is springy but mild in taste with the butter creamy sauce. Just nice to neutral it with the soft shell crab. Beware with some chili padi in it and with the curry leaves bring some spice to the pasta. I will feel little ''jelak'' to finish it on my own due to the creamy sauce. Best to share with someone and order another food to try more varieties.

Ben's at Publika solaris has 2 sections, air-coned and outdoors. The indoor tables are limited but sometimes sitting outside to have a breeze of the wind is great too. But for just have to bare with some smokers nearby. Great to enjoy afternoon tea with friends here too. There are up to 15 kinds of coffee and 10 types of tea to choose on.
I pick the earl grey tea today. It comes with a tea pot and just nice for 2 cups of serving. Free flow for the hot water, but it starts diluted after 3 times of refill. I like the mild taste of earl grey tea, and the aroma is comfortable to suit my wonderful sunday afternoon.
