Steam red talapia Smile Sep 30, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Leong Chee Hoong restaurant is famous of river fish. We order this steam red talapia with special sauce. The fish is quite big but the meat is not hard at all. The fish is very smooth and serve nice with the sauce. I don't know what is the sauce name but is normally called 酱蒸. It bring a little spiciness and mixed with some chinese bean sauce. It is very flavourful and makes me finish my whole bowl of white rice.

Nama Choco Sand @ RM4.00
This is a Japanese bakery shop, their bakery and cakes are much more unique and special. I like this name choco sand cake very much. This is the chocolate flavour and their have another one is greet tea. It is like 2 chocolate cake hamburg with a layer of chocolate ice cream. Need to keep it in the fridge and defrost for a few minutes before consume. The chocolate so called ice cream will just liquidy in the mouth. It is quite sweet but very delicious.

Steam flower crab @ RM42.00
I had quite high expectation on the crab since we are dining in a seafood restaurant just right beside the river. The crabs came out to be so skinny and small. They are not meaty at all. There are 4 crabs in total and only 2 of it is sweet, the rest are quite tasteless and the meat is too soft. I was so disappointed and luckily i comfort myself by eating the thin layer of egg white at the bottom with little seafood soup with it.

Lala fried mee hoon OK Sep 30, 2013   (Related Review)

Lala fried mee hoon @ RM6.00
We actually order 1 pax portion and it was served in a huge plate. The portion is quite a lot. It looks quite delicious from the look but after trying i'm quite disappointed. The fried mee hoon is just no different from normal soy sauce fried mee hoon. There is no seafood taste or wok 'hey'' aroma at all. The small lala consider quite big as it is still visible. Luckily still got some seafood taste on the lala.

Fried Oyster omelette  Cry Sep 30, 2013   (Related Review)

Fried Oyster omelette @ RM18.00
The oyster omelette was served on a sizzling plate. Besides tiny oysters, the omelette was fried with red chilli, and lots of spring onions. The omelette dried up very fast due to the sizzling heat. The egg is not flavourful at all and almost tasteless, i think the chef forgotten to add some seasoning on it. End up i just pick the tiny oyster to eat and left the egg. With all the tiny oysters only, i think it was over-priced.
