Tracka Durian Snow Ice, RM14.80

I am so into this snow ice. It was introduced by a friend of mine. The snow ice is so fine and the durian taste is so strong. It comes with taro balls, fruit mix, cincau and corn flakes.

Tong Pak Fu also an ideal place if you hang out with friends. Let's take a break here.

Love Durian, try Tong Pak Fu!! <3

Roti Canai can be delicious 2 Smile May 14, 2012

Categories : Malaysian variety | Kopitiam | Noodles | Nasi Lemak

What’s your best Roti Canai? The best Roti Canai I ever had is available at Teh Tarik Place. The dough is stretched thinly; the roti crispy, and not oily. The roti is thin, fluffy on the inside and crispy and flaky on the outside. It comes together with 3 sauces; sambal, dhal, and fish curry sauce.

Normal roti Canai are available anywhere, with a strong tasting flour dough. However the recipe here differs; as the dough doesn’t make us just taste the flour, but overall, the taste leaves you craving for more.

Unfortunately, in order to enjoy this Roti Canai, I needed to wait for long time for them to serve, about a 20 minute wait. But it’s worth it. Hehehe.

Ordinarily we eat roti canai at the mamak stall, but at Teh Tarik Place, a high class air-conditioned mamak, the pricing will be a bit expensive compare to elsewhere.

Of cause, they are not just selling roti canai; there are also other varieties of foods.
Now, I am sick for it …… oh no! Mouth-watering looooo tongue

Not only was I attracted to the Roti Canai, but also the staff’s uniform. It’s just normal round neck white t-shirt, but printed with various foods’ name in front, like, Roti Canai, Teh Tarik, Nasi Lemak, and more. It’s cute!!

The price for a plain roti canai with a glass of teh tarik is about RM5+- after the taxes.

Looks GOOD @ market hall!! Smile May 14, 2012

Yeah! It’s another day out to hunt for delicious foods again. This round my friend decided to dine @ Market Hall.

Once we seated, looking at the surrounding, it’s quite uncomfortable for both of us because most of their customers that day are couples, unlike us, both also girls.

This might be an ideal place for those couples to have their date here.smile

For appetiser, we decided to order a salad- avocado mustard salad.

If you like to eat coriander leaves just like me do, you will like this salad. The combination is just perfect - serving with the mustard sauce. Bravo!

This is what we have for our main course…..

Cool right? Serve using the chopping boardshockedFor the side dishes, originally comes with salad and fries but we changed it to both salad.

This burger really make us so full-big portion. Luckily another main course is just pasta. tongue it’s so thick, not easy to eat it politely. (Not the way we normally have our Ramly Burger…….hiak hiak hiak)

They add some herbs and spices to make the pasta taste better.

Recommended Dish(es):  avocado mustard salad

Do you know what the best roasted chicken in town is? For me it’s Nando’s!!

For chicken meal, we can go for ¼ chicken with 2 sidelines, ½ chicken with 2 sidelines or ¼ chicken with rice. We can choose the peri level of the chicken: lemon and herb, mild peri-peri, hot peri-peri, and extra hot peri-peri.

Usually, I will order ¼ chicken with 2 sidelines (depending on my hunger level) with its mild peri-peri level. There are more than 5 side-lines to be choose.

Not only chicken meals, you can also find burgers and pita, espetada and more. If you are dining in group of 4 people or more, there is something in set, for instant, Peri platter, full platter and Jumbo platter.

For drink, I will go for the bottomless iced lemon tea. Can refill ma!!! Hehe……

After u try Nando’s, you will never be back to Kenny Roger Roasters or any other roasted chicken restaurants…….oppss, not to offend any party k! Just for sharing purposes only. Maybe returns just for other food. tongue

Sugar is cheap! Cry May 02, 2012

When we pass thru Gong Cha, there is always a long queue of people. Wondering why this beverage is in high demand……..

I had tried it twice, but still not taken to it. This was introduced by my sis. One day, she bought me her favorite beverage from Gong Cha- MelonT & whiteP. It was too sweet for me. For the white pearl, Okay la…..,

it is special compared to the normal bubble available in the market and it’s chewy. That’s was my first time trying Gong Cha.

For my second try, just recently, I ordered “Plum Green Tea” with 30% sugar less ice and added white pearl. First impression that came to my mind was, “oh my god! I just ordered 30% sugar, already so sweet!” Sugar is cheap I guess!

In terms of pricing, it is not cheap as for the Plum Green Tea that I ordered, costs me RM6.40. I just go because of curiosity not because the taste!

Spending per head: Approximately RM7(下午茶)
