Ice Bowl Smile Aug 11, 2012

Categories : Café | Desserts

Ice Bowl is one of my favourite dessert shops after My Honeymoon dessert house. It has a very simple interior with lots of local and Hong Kong desserts.

I had a douhua (tofu pudding) with mango dessert. The smooth texture of pudding when paired with the crunchy chunks of mango is simple yet delicious. Most importantly, it is sweet with natural fruity flavour. Very enjoyable tea there indeed.

Cheapest Sausage Platter in Town Smile Aug 11, 2012

Unlike the restaurant opposite, Win Soon Fish Head Noodles, here Tery Pork does not have much lunch and dinner crowd, and the parking is ample here. But don't look down at this shop, because the food is really delicious for a pork lover.

This is probably the Cheapest Sausage Platter in Town! Only for RM25, I get to enjoy a very porky meal of different good textures. The sauce is rather light and suits me because I don't like much saltiness. The mashed potato on the platter is slightly sweetened and I can taste the smoothness within the chunks. Delicious!

Tery Pork @ Southgate Smile Aug 11, 2012

Tery Pork cafe is a pork specialty restaurant which serves all kinds of porky meat in the whole menu. The price is very reasonable but the location is quite unnoticeable and far from the Southgate main building where the fashion stores are located at.

The stone bowl rice is only RM10, but the rice is really very aromatic with spring onions. The tender pork meat is hot and salty with lightly seasoned rice. The egg adds sweetness to it after everything is mixed together. Worth the value of money and highly recommended for pork lover.

Lammeeya @ Paradigm Mall OK Aug 11, 2012

Lammeeya is probably one of the cheapest food I can get at Paradigm Mall, although I have heard plenty of poor reviews about this shop.

However, my experience here is a pleasant one, as I get a hot bowl of prawn noodles with chicken floss and am happy with the huge portion. The service is quite fast. Although I feel that the soup is quite bland and not so sweet with prawn flavours, I still love the tender chicken meat with smooth noodles.

Lan Je Smile Aug 11, 2012

Lan Je has the most popular steamed fish ever and the branches are expanding around Klang Valley these few years. Famed for Steamed Tilapia Fish, I went there with mates to try it out.

The fish is really very fresh, and I am surprised because it is difficult to find such fresh fish in town. The toppings give a combination of sweet and spicy taste while the soy sauce at the bottom is light and not overly salty. Overall, it has very fresh sweetness with flaky meat. Delicious!
