Mango green tea with sweet cream Smile Jul 01, 2012

I've tried Chatime, Gong Cha and Ochado, now let's try Share Tea!

As you can see, Share Tea categorizes its products into several groups, namely Taiwan Classic Milk Tea, Natural Fruit Tea, Brewed Tea, Ice Blended, Fresh Milk, Yakult Drink, Winter Melon series and Rock Salt "Cheese" Cream Beverage.

Didn't know what to order so I randomly picked Mango green tea with sweet cream. It's RM5.90 for a regular cup.

Here's the instructions on how to drink cream beverages:
1. Every cream beverage will come with a small plastic knife.
2. Use the plastic knife and make a 2-3cm cut along the rim of the cup to taste the cream.
3. Put the straw in and taste the tea.
4 .Stir and enjoy!

How did I find my tea then? First of all the cream was really thick, and sweet indeed. Moving on to the tea, I would say it's not too sweet and I could taste mango pulps in it. It's surprising because I thought it would be plain fruit juice only smile When I mixed the cream and tea together, the flavour changed slightly and it sort of became "blended" mango juice due to the thick cream. Overall, this drink was way better than I expected it to be and I'm definitely going back to Share Tea in the future.

As I was told by many people that Dragon-i is famous for its Shanghainese steamed meat dumpling 小龙包, I finally visited this place just to order this dish.

The dumpling skin is not as translucent as I expected it to be, but all dumplings looked delicious at first sight. Bf taught me the proper way of eating this beforehand so I wouldn't waste the "soup" contained in it.

Took my first bite at one corner and the soup was already oozing out. Very hot and flavourful until I thought it was worth it to burn my tongue because of this, hehe. Once I've consumed the soup, I slowly enjoyed the meat in it. Minced chicken and pork, topped with some fresh ginger slices and dipped in black vinegar, the dumpling was indeed tasty.

Be careful not to break the skin with your chopsticks though before it reaches your mouth tongue

i-Pork Smile Jun 17, 2012

Hungry hog is no stranger to people who live around Subang as it serves cheap and decent porky Western food. Being a pork lover, I found myself visiting this restaurant a week later after knowing its existence lol Small but cozy restaurant with minimal deco makes one feel comfortable at home...

It's called the i-pork! Very unique taste I shall say. The patty was juicy enough, topped with the special apple cinnamon sauce with crunchy apple mayo, its combination was perfect to make my day. Apple cinnamon sauce tasted slightly sour but it was still ok to me. Refreshing!

Homemade mashed potato. This one had bits of potato skin in it, perhaps it's a way to indicate real potatoes were used when most restaurants use instant mashed potatoes. Onion gravy was tasty but didn't manage to put fireworks in my mouth though. Taste was quite mild to me hence I prefer it to be more flavourful.

Corns in Soya Smile Jun 08, 2012

The combination of corn and soya milk is heavenly. Being a unique combination, I've always wanted to have have corns in soya but not many shops have this drink. Now I know where to head to if I needed to satisfy my cravings at once.

How does it taste like anyway? Well, it's just soya milk.. with corns inside. Corns are sweet so they too, added on a little extra sweetness into the milk, or you can imagine yourself having sweet corn drinks because the drink is rich in corns.

Of bulgogi and bibimbap Smile Jun 07, 2012

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | BBQ

This restaurant has always been around even when I was in high school. Ever since I moved to KL for tertiary education I've completely forgotten about this place until I saw my friend posted a picture of him dining in here on Facebook!

I was really happy that such place still exists after so many years, it's a good restaurant which offers really awesome food at affordable price afterall, so I told my bf that we would be visiting this place on one weekend.

Restaurant still looked pretty much the same as before, just like how I remembered it to be, a first glance through the menu and I noticed that the price of food is somewhat the same as well, perhaps the price did increase but not too significant to be noticed.

I ordered the Grilled Bulgogi Chicken set (beef is available too). Chicken was fairly tender, cooked in the sweet-ish bulgogi sauce and gave off a lovely fragrance from far. However, the portion of chicken was not much, but with the complimentary side dishes (tofu, kimchi and bean sprouts) with a bowl of rice and soup (and fruits!), this set meal turned out to be quite satisfying to me lol

Bibimbap for the bf. Carrot strips, seaweed, fried egg, cucumber strips, red bell pepper and so on. Mixed these ingredients evenly with the rice covered in bibimbap sauce and you're good to go!

Spending per head: Approximately RM25
