Order a bowl of Seafood Kal Kuk Su, the dish served flat fresh wheat noodles, zucchini and seafood, cost RM10.90 during lunch. While during dinner, the same dish will cost slightly higher ie RM13.90 with 6% tax only. There will be 3 side dishes served along with the bowl of noodles, the side dishes are egg roll, assorted anchovies and kimchi.

I must say, Oiso served quality food, the portion of the noodles was a lot for a person to finish. I only managed to finished 3/4 portion of it. I had drank finished half bowl of the soup. I like the wheat noodles which is very smooth and easily be swallowed. The look is like the local "pan mee" but wheat is a healthy food and smoother texture.

They gave very generous seafood such as clams, I have counted it for at least 9 clams in the bowl, 1 pathetic prawns and quite a lot of squids. I also found vegetables, seaweed, sliced capsicum, sliced carrots and sliced egg roll. I made the bowl of seafood noodles more interesting by mixing the anchovies in the soup. I have all that finished completely, left only the 1/4 portion of the noodle. Yummy!smiletongue

I have ordered Honey Ginger tea which served in a hot pot, cost RM5.90. During the current promotion, 50% discount or half price on all beverages during lunch hours, we only needed to pay half the price with 6% government tax. No service tax is imposed so far.

When I first had this drinks, I have immediately fallen for it being the reason, the drinks was so concentrated with ginger taste and love the spicy taste as well. It has given the soothing effect to my stomach in particular, then my appetite too. The portion can be shared, as it served a medium size pot. Certainly serving quality Honey Ginger Tea with real sliced gingers not ginger flavoured tea as you can see it in the photo.

Bak Kut Teh Smile Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Bak Kut Teh

Big Mouth's Bak Kut Teh claimed that it is Cantonese style Bak Kut Teh recipe cooked with top grade Chinese herbal and fresh pork originated from Uncle Big Mouth is the main course in the restaurant which with the slogan of ‘Is Bak Kut Teh Soup! Not Herbal Soup’.

We ordered a pot of Bak Kut Teh, cost RM33.00. The moment the boiling hot Bak Kut Teh served on our table, a good aroma from the soup coming out that made all of us feeling more hungry. Without much hesitation, we scooped up a tablespoon of soup for tasting immediately. Great taste with strong Chinese herbal, mild bitterness or in Cantonese "kam" taste. The Bak Kut Teh served with button mushrooms, golden-needle mushrooms, white Chinese Cabbage, pig's intestines, pig's stomach slices, pork belly and dried beancurd sheets were all on slow simmered till soft. Every item and bite that full of satisfaction.

Nice Ambience Smile Jul 31, 2012

Acme Bar & Coffee aka ABC. ABC commenced operations in December 2011 in The Troika. Acme means “the best” in Greek. Having located in a prime area and nice ambience will certainly attract a lot of diners. However, in terms of the price, it will be on the higher side.

We had Chicken Salad, served with grilled chicken strips, sliced capsicum, sliced onions and veg with mayonnaise. The salad was crunchy and juicy with a little bit of sweet taste from the capsicum. Though, the salad is simple and easy to prepare but it is always in demand to the diners.

Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Noodles

Thai up's menu served a few variety of rice and noodle.

Under the House Specialty, there are 1 type of rice and 4 types of noodles for you to match with your desire meat and 4 types of sauces. The cost of the house specialty are; RM14.90 for chicken meat and RM16.90 for seafood such as prawns and squids.

The interesting part is the diner get flexibility to choose either rice or noodle. Rice would be what they called it Thai mixed rice which is the mixture of fragrant rice with brown rice other than that would be any one of the 4 types of noodles to choose from such as vermicelli, glass noodle, wheat noodle and rice noodle. As for the 4 types of sauces such as Green Curry, Red Curry, Spicy Lemongrass and Spicy Basil.

We have ordered House Specialty Thai mixed rice with chicken meat on Green Curry. This dish was delicious, the milky thick Green curry taste very good. The Green curry along with the mixed rice and the grilled chicken meat made the whole dish superb. smiletongue. The grilling smell on the chicken skin was captured, smell so nice and taste so good. I personally think that the portion of the rice is just enough for the ladies.

I will certainly return to try other dishes for the sake of their delicious sauce.smile
