Woo Pin has recently introduced or revised their F & B menu extensively to compete with its competitors in the current market and demand.

For those who are more adventurous, they would explore into other new released dishes, one of which is the Garoupa Fish Head noodle, cost RM17.00 before tax.

The Garoupa meat was bouncy in texture and sweet in taste. It served with deep fried onions, spring onions, sliced tomatoes, salted vegetables, milk and Chinese wine added. With the presence of the Garoupa fish which made the taste of the broth sweeter and mouthwatering.

Thumbs up!tongue for the side dish, Fried Bean Curd (Foo Chok), cost RM6.00 before tax. My first try and liked it immediately. Crispy on the outside, tasty with fish paste inside, a quality fried bean curb. It looks "bloated" with fish paste. The fried bean curd was wrapped in layers of fish paste and rolled before it went to deep fried it. The only setback, it is a bit oily. It could be due to freshly fried effect as the taste of the fried bean curd was very fresh and mouthwatering. smile

We also ordered Kedondong (Spondias dulcis) "Sa Lei" Plum juice "on the rock", cost RM3.00 before tax. The drinks was very refreshing taste and gave immediate refreshing effect as well. Made one with alert mind and eyes were sparkling due to the presence of the plum as well. The sourish from the plum with blended fresh fruit given that refreshing effect. However, I personally find the drinks taste a bit rough in texture, may be due to the contrast of having the smooth texture of barley ginkgo earlier.

Finally, this established and famous Fish Head Noodle has spread their wings to Sri Petaling. I would never ever miss to order their famous Barley, Bean Curd Skin "Foo chok" with Ginkgo, cost RM3.00/glass before tax.

I love it very much for its quality dessert, plenty of ginkgo, barley and found bitten eggs as well which made the drinks tasted very smooth in texture. So far, other than my Mom's best barley, ginkgo with soya bean, this is the second best that I have found, it is like a homecook barley ginkgo served generous dessert. I usually have 2 glasses.tonguetongue

Should you wish to opt for an affordable price, perhaps, you may consider their outlet located at Taman Danau Desa, Taman Desa which sells at RM2.00nett/glass. The only difference is, that outlet is a coffee shop without air-con facility.

This hidden restaurant in particular, the stall that serves pork noodles is my dad's favourite breakfast. He introduced me to taste the noodle. smile yum-yum, my first try was speechless, so far, the food stalls that sells pork noodles is not able to satisfy us completely, the taste of the broth was awesome which also played an important role in a good taste bowl of noodle. The soup was prepared with pig liver and pork meat which gives tastier and stronger sweet taste to the broth. Moreover, the pig liver is a rich source of protein, B vitamins, iron and other essential nutrients. They also served a lot of garlics fritter that we adored so much.tonguetongue
