Shark Fin Soup Cry Jul 24, 2012   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Group/Family dining

First of all, I believe that Chinese Recreation Club ( CRC ) serve one of the best dishes in town but
I strongly disagree with this particular shark fin soup.

Shark Fin Soup (鱼翅)

I actually find that the shark fin soup is a huge disappointment to me.
I do not like the taste nor the smell at all.
Although a lot of people who try this dish love it, but I totally hate it!

Well, what's in the shark fin soup?
There are the crab meats, fishes and other types of ingredients.
I can hardly remember because I am not attracted to the taste at all.
All in all, I think the price is pretty average as well chopstick

Pricey Laksa Cry Jul 22, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

Well, after buying from this stall, I had actually learnt a very important lessons in life.
I must actually see the price menu and if they don't have one like this particular stall, I should actually
open my mouth and ask about the price.
That's why I believe that we should not judge a book by its cover.

Why so?
From my first impression, I actually thought that the laksa will only costs RM 4 per bowl at the maximum price.
However, out of my expectation, this bowl of particular laksa costs me RM 6.50 per bowl.
Did I add any ingredients?
Yes, I do.
But only 3 fish balls which no way costs RM 1 for one.
LOL

The RM 6.50 Laksa

Taste is average, a little sour to my liking.
Portion is okay because I go for the big.
Price as I had mention, too over price.
And during my experience at there, you can choose your own ingredients.
If you prefer to add the fish which is small in size in my opinion, then you may do so, just add more money mad
And I wonder how much will it be?
Hahaha~!

Oh, before I forget, the laksa is self service compared to most of the other stalls who provide serving to your table xD
Lastly, enjoy your laksa at there xDD

Roti Bah Kua Cry Jul 22, 2012   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Noodles

This roti bah kua is selling just beside the Shell Station Laksa.
They have pretty good business everyday as well.

RM 1.40 per one, so RM 2.80 for two smile

I used to always buy at this stall few months ago.
At that time, I think that their bah kua is very delicious and definitely one of the best I had ever tasted!
Somehow after so long never been there, the taste of the bah kua pretty much have change sad
At my first bite, I find that the bah kua is very dry which is totally different from what I expect, perhaps they put too
little sauce although I demand for more.
The bah kua also kinda hard in my opinion xD
Anyway, I don't think I will ever buy from there anymore unless they can back to the last time delicious taste >.<

Wong Kok Kitchen @ Prangin Cry Jul 19, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

Wong Kok Kitchen basically is a restaurant that specialised in Hong Kong food.

Comes with rice, hams, corns, egg and vegetable mad

Overall, I have to admit that I dislike the food.
Maybe, I do not know which is their specialised food or maybe I dislike Hong Kong food, probably?
Erm, about the price, I think its average, as its not very cheap of course but not very expensive too.
Anyway, if you love Hong Kong style food, then this will be your one of the best spot.

I love Yoo, or Maybe Not! Cry Jul 17, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung | Porridge

After seeing that this shop '' I Love Yoo'' have pretty good review and quite a number of customers most of the time,
suddenly I feel like give it a shot.
However, the taste kinda totally disappointed me.
Somehow, I really feel that their food is actually pretty tasteless, or maybe my taste bud problem, perhaps?
I bet not!

Well, their porridge is actually not that bad, but not that great too.
Oh, the soya beans, to be honest, its pretty much tasteless. Same goes with tau the fu fah.
However, I had to admit that their you tiao and the ham cim peng is actually quite good.
Very crunchy tho!
Lastly, they actually operates based on self service so you had to order and take your own meal just like
any other fast food restaurants.
