Ice Kacang OK Jul 25, 2012

Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court | Steaks / Chops | Noodles

I am not really a fan of ice kacang actually but due to super thirsty on that time,
I give it a shot~!RM 2.50

Overall, I think that the sweetness level is average.
Price is very reasonable as well.
Portion is quite a big bowl too xD
As usual, the ice kacang contains all the ingredients that any other ordinary ice kacang will have.
They do not add any special ingredients xD
Overall, not bad actually chopstick

Char Koay Teow OK Jul 25, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court | Steaks / Chops | Noodles

Again and again, I went to New World Park food court there to eat after school ~!
Of course, try new dishes that I had never try at there too!

So, the food I am going to review right now is the char koay teow chopstick

The plate that I order is RM 4.50 for the large, but I did not notice how much is the small.
RM 4.00 perhaps?

The taste is good.
The spiciness level is great too.
It have everything that an ordinary char koay teow have too.
Well, it serves with three big prawns which is a thumb up from me.
The portion of the serving is average too.
The only thing that I dislike for the char koay teow is I find that the koay teow
is quite cold during I ate them although they just cooked it.

Overall, a very satisfy meal but there are still plenty of room for improvements ~! smile

Air Itam Laksa OK Jul 25, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

This laksa have sell for a long long time even before I born for sure.
Hahahaha....!

They have tons of customers everyday and can be labelled as the most well know laksa to all the locals
and tourists as well.
As I do not enjoy in a crowd neither sitting there to eat,
I usually buy back my laksa to eat in my home.
Okay....

Okay....

Okay...

Okay...

RM 3.50 for the small laksa
But the one I order is the big one which costs me RM 4.50

First of all, portion of the serving is appropriate to the price they charge...xD
I find that the soup of the particular laksa does not attract my attention so much.
I think that the soup is just plain ordinary and nothing special compared to other laksa.
Besides, their soup is too thick and not suitable to my liking.
The soup don't even taste sourish at all even a little which is complete opposite to what assam laksa is~!

Overall, I think their laksa is definitely not the BEST even in Penang!
Although a lot of people did actually think that they serve the best and tastiest laksa xD
Well, after all, that's just my opinion....hehe lol

Chopper Board Tom Yam OK Jul 24, 2012   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

I personally believe that Chopper Board is one of the shop that sells food at a very reasonable price.
So, as usual, I went to the one located inside Queensbay Mall again. smile

Tom Yam

Forget the price, but is less than RM 10 xD
There are various types of ingredients in it namely crab meat, mushroom and others
which I did not mention due to lack of memory of me.
Hahaha.....lol

The tom yam soup is pretty sour to my liking.
Portion of the serving is moderate.
Price is reasonable too.

Overall, I am a very satisfy customer.
And good news is there are no service or government tax that we had to pay!

Steam Fish OK Jul 24, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Group/Family dining

Chinese Recreation Club ( CRC ) is actually can be say as one of the most well-known and best Chinese
restaurant in Penang Island.
CRC is located along Macalister Road and Burma Road.

Steam fish tongue

First of all, I did notice that their fish is fresher compared to a lot of other restaurants.
The steam fish is serves hot with tasty soy sauce mixture and garnished with plenty of
onions and celery leaves as well.
Overall, I find that the fish meat is indeed very soft yet juicy at the same time.
The gravy of the fish also smell good and also taste good too. tongue
Totally a satisfy dish and price for the steam fish is also quite reasonable to me lol
