Wan Than Mee Cry Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

I went to the food court here at Farlim to have my breakfast.
However, I can say that its not a pleasant experience or neither do I satisfy with the food.
First of all, the range of different choices of food here is not a lot.
I actually think the place offer quite a limited choices of food only.
The food price at there is also not that cheap too.

Wan Than Mee

Due to do not know what to eat, I decided to order the Wan Than Mee.
I did notice that the portion is pretty small.
The taste is also not that pleasant.
Or in other words, I dislike the taste seriously.
The gravy of the Wan Than Mee is pretty tasteless to me.
The ' char siew ' is also pretty hard to chew in my opinion.
And lastly, the sambal is also not spicy at all.
Overall, I totally dislike it I don't think I will ever go there again to have my meal. huffy

Tom Yam @ Neway OK Jul 28, 2012   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Western variety | Steaks / Chops

During my visit to Neway at Queensbay Mall, I did order a bowl of tom yam.
Forget about the price but is quite a big portion of instant noodles with tom yam soup!

The Tom Yam chopstick

Overall, I find that the tom yam soup is very average.
The soup to me is 70% alike as the instant noodle tom yam soup that you can cook at home easily
but taste slightly much better.
The soup is not very sour but I actually think its more towards sweetness.
After all, I think the tom yam not bad as it can make my stomach full when I can enjoy my singing.
As usual, you have to eat your bowl of tom yam as fast as possible or else it will become cold very fast
due to the cold air-conditioner.

Macarons Smile Jul 27, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

I actually bought this macarons from a deal website.
They costs me RM 5.90 for 10pcs of truffles macarons which originally suppose to cost RM 11.

They put the macarons in the box which I think is pretty cute.
But, don't the box is too big? lol

The 10 tiny macarons.chopstick
Ooopss....missing one...I guess I at them tongue
Chocolate flavour....my favourite smile

Look at the size of the macarons.
I actually think its the same size as 50cents coin or maybe a little bigger.

Well, the macarons is made from egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond,
and food colouring.
The middle layer of the macarons is actually filled with ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched depends
on the seller.

Overall, I think macarons are a pretty yummy snacks.
The taste is marvellous but somehow I think it is too sweet.
Averagely, the price for the macarons at this bakery shop is very cheap compared to other stalls which
can costs you RM3 to RM5 for a piece of macarons only of the same size.

Best Tom Yam Smile Jul 27, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Café | Noodles

This particular tom yam stall that sells in Asia Cafe (opposite to Air Hitam monument)
actually have the other branch in Raja Uda.
They operates their business from 5.30p.m. to 11.30p.m. only.
During my visit, I would have to wait for nearly half an hour to get my tom yam serve as
they have a lot of customers come and go non-stop.
The Stall

The Stall

So basically, this is their stall in Asia Cafe.
There are only 2 people to operate the business, so you would actually have to wait for a little longer time.
Well, that's what people say, good things always need patience !

The ho jiak tomyam chopstick
This bowl only costs me RM5 which I considered very cheap.
You can have the option to eat your tom yam with instant noodles, rice, porridge or even vermicelli.

No lies, but my first impression towards the tom yam soup is towards the negative ones.
However, after the first moment I taste the tom yam soup, I knew that what I think is wrong.
To me, the soup have the mixture of spicy, sour and even sweet.
The aroma of the tom yam is totally irresistible and probably the best tom yam I had ever taste yet in my life.

Forget to mention, you can actually add various types of ingredients by your self as what most of the tom yam
stall do anyway.
However, I did actually think that this tom yam price is more cheaper than any other tom yam stall even their taste
is not as great as they do.
Lastly, the aroma is irresistible, the taste is superb, the portion is big and best of all the price is cheap.
So, what can you ask for more? smile

* Highly recommended for Tom Yam lovers *

6 Celcious Take Away is just another tea shop that located in Gurney Plaza.

On the left picture :-

Fresh Guava Drink chopstick
Well, taste very nice and absolutely refreshing.
They actually cut the guava into very tiny pieces and blend together with the drink.
Overall, the sweetness level is very appropriate and the portion of serving is quite a lot too.

On the right picture :-

Chocolate Ice Blended chopstick
No doubt!
One of the best chocolate ice blended I ever taste.
The flavour, sweetness and everything is set at the right proportion.
The ice blended is also not easily melt like other tea shop do!
I actually prefer their chocolate ice blended more than other tea shop ones.
