This is the only korean restaurant nearby my house, decided to give it a try when I watch too many korean drama and want to eat some kimchi. Kinda disappointed though. >.<crowded, i think because it is the only korean restaurant in this area.kimchi soup with korean dumpling. the dumpling is not very tasty but kimchi soup is an addiction! I can finish up whole bowl of korean rice with the soup itself!their korean pancake is normal, not as good as those that I have tried in many other korean restaurant. The BBQ is affordable (LAMB for RM25 only, CHICKEN for RM20, no pork), but they don't serve free korean dishes although you order bbq! however i saw people who order set meal get a few small dishes. sad, the main reason i love korean cuisine is because of those mini korean dishes that come complimentary with the meal you order. >.<

Southgate is a very quiet mall, but still I love going there, only for the pork restaurant located in it, Kafe Tery Pork.They have many selection of pork dishes, one of the popular one is ramen, and this is one of the choices they have for ramen. The dish looks normal but the pork bacon is very well=prepared, for pork lover like me. They also have rice if you think noodles is not your thing.One of the western dish selction, cheesy pork roll. They already pre-cut the pork roll and the cheese actually flowing out already. omg so tempted!They have spaghetti too. I was not very looking forward to it but it came out really nice. the pork meat ball smell so good and so tender and yummy! The spaghetti is a little bit too wet though, if they can fried it over the pan, I think i will be even better!

I have run out of lunch idea lately, and I wanted something heavy today, so I went to a steak house I miss, Outback.Only realized that they have lunch set menu too! Price starts from RM19.95 to RM26.95, come with a main course, soup of the day and a bottomless Coca-Cola or Ice Lemon Tea.the soup of the day is carrot soup, one of my favorite here!My main course, I always love beef so I ordered the steak tips with mushrooms, beef done in medium. This meal make me so happy! taste really good. the portion is big for me, thought wanna skip the pilaf rice but it tastes so yummy that I couldn't stop eating.

I will visit again! When I am looking for another heavy lunch meal. =p

I was in a mood for tea break, so I walk over Pavilion and want to have a look at this newly open luxury tea cafe, TWG, from Singapore.
I was very excited actually, as I always love tea and I missed out my chance to try it during my previous trip in Singapore.
Then I was quite upset when I met up one of the staff in the tea boutique. I think I am too sensitive but what the staff did really spoiled my mood. However, I still went on with my plan and ask for a single seat in the cafe.As I am going alone, I only ordered one 1837 Tea set, which I think will be sufficient for me as it comes with 2 scones or 1 muffin or 1 pastry and a pot of tea (select from tea menu).
The very friendly waiter was not familiar with their menu yet, he made me confuse about the tea set selection, he told me I can get scones AND muffin AND PASTRY with the set I chose. @.@" But it is ok, it is a new shop, they need more training I guess. He suggested "Silvermoon" tea to me and I took his suggestion. Silvermoon is a korean green tea with strawberry and vanilla flavor (what he told me).The scones come with cream and tea jelly, the tea jelly taste really special and match the scones very well. I finished up one and a half scones on my own. These are the cakes that they display near the entrance of the tea boutique. I was snapping this photo when the waitress is talking to another customer, and she turned around and told me that I am not supposed to take picture of the cakes. I felt embarrassing so I apologized and kept my phone (ya I was taking photo with my iphone) but I saw she showed a kind of face expression that I thought is kinda impolite when she turn back to the person she was talking to. I thought I was thinking too much, too sensitive, but that still made me feel bad. The cakes are beautiful so I snap a photo with my iphone without asking permission (they didn't put any signboard that mentioned we are not allow to snap photo anyway), but she should just remind me about it, not making face behind my back. Maybe she is making face on another topic, not about me, but yea, I misunderstood already, and i was very unhappy.

However, the tea is really good, and I love the scones too, it made up my afternoon. I also bought a pack of tea leaf home so that I can enjoy the tea at home without ppl hurting my little sensitive heart. =p
Just sharing my two cent, I personally think that every staff should assume that anyone who walk in their shop area is a potential customer.

there are a few organic restaurant along Jalan Ampang Hilir.earth food is a bit further down inside jalan ampang hilir, after Haven.we ordered two soup, pumpkin and mushroom. I thought mushroom will be nicer (i always love mushroom soup!) but ended up the pumpkin one is even better. nothing special about this, but the bread is homemade with organic flour and the cheese is also organic. I was hoping that there is some italian tomato sauce to make it taste better.my pesto, taste good, but nothing to shout about.very colorful dish, grilled salmon with red dragon food. nice presentation.grass-fed beef steak. hmm.. nothing to shout about and the kitchen forgot the mashed potato (i thought i saw there will be mashed potato with this dish in the menu).

I wonder if all organic restaurants are expensive? how organic is those organic food?
I basically think that eating healthy doesn't need to be eating organic food though.

actually the pricing is not that bad as a lot western/italian restaurant is around the same price range, but with the same price I believe i can find better food (maybe those "non-organic" one).

the environment is relaxing and there building has a lot of big window, if you go during morning time (they open at 8.30am), you can enjoy the sunlight.
