Pretty disappointed with this. First they forgot my order then it took a very long time to arrive.

Then, I discovered that the fish was super 'fishy' but the sauce was good so it helped. The fish was at an awkward angle so I started digging underneath and found... potato. This potato is even tastier than the whipped potato! There was a cheesy taste, mixed with the sauce and some herbs. Gosh.. Do they have a potato platter or something? I definitely enjoyed the potatoes more than the fish.

Nasi lemak OK Jul 28, 2012   (Related Review)

This shop is pretty quiet and peaceful, with a lovely warm interior. It is furnished with wooden furniture and tufts of grass peeping out.

This may look like a regular nasi lemak with chicken but don't forget that it's a vegetarian restaurant. The fried chicken lookalike is fried yam and that is not ikan bilis either. We found the food to be kinda dry (even the fried yam) and lacking in taste.

I have already tried this twice and still am not really fond of it. It is not the usual tomato sauce based marinara I always have. Instead, it has a black heavy-tasting sauce that is slightly spicy and salty. Probably soy sauce based. There are quite a number of prawns and calamari in the dish which were all fresh. Although the price was not that low, the amount of seafood makes up for it.

Salmon OK Jul 28, 2012

This restaurant is definitely a high class one with amazing service, a great environment and accompanying high price. I recall ordering this because it was among the cheapest on the menu tongue The grilled salmon was served gourmet style on a huge plate with a small bowl of pickled salad. The salmon was so smooth and almost melted in my mouth. However, it had a really fishy taste which was quite disappointing. The side order of portabello mushroom and truffle whipped potato was amazing though.

When the waiter placed the bowl on my table, I thought that the pale purple colour was quite strange. It's Sweetened Sago with Taro and Glutinous Rice Balls. Given a choice between peanut and black sesame paste filling for the rice balls, we opted for the former. The taro itself didn't have much taste but combined with the soup, it's alright.. Rice balls were chewy and the peanut paste inside was sweet and very yummy. I wouldn't say it's great though.
