I came across this kiosk which serves Mexican snacks. Among the snacks offered were tacos, burritos and nachos. Wanting to have a more healthy supper, I decided on a smoked salmon burrito. Do not be fooled by the serving size of the burrito, it is sure tightly rolled with sufficient smoked salmon slices and vegetables. The burrito is also lightly toasted to give it a little crispy outer texture.

The picture above is the porky fries from Tom, Dick and Harry. My sister told me that it was her favourite item here and she would order it everytime she visits the place. I took her advice and ordered a plate to share with my friends. The porky fries is actually spam cut into the shape of fries and then deep fried till it has a deep brown color. The taste was rather bland and we enhanced it with chili sauce.

I have to admit having McDonald's for breakfast is not healthy but when there is a craving for it, why deny your hunger pangs? The first time I had hash brown was when I was traveling around USA and it was quite delicious and filling. When I got back to Malaysia, I tried hunting for a place which serves good hash brown. The hash brown from McDonald's is quite oily as the paper bag holding it was greasy when I picked up the hash brown. The hash brown is also quite thin but they fried it till very crispy.

Dropped by here for tea time and decided to try out the new McCafe branch. I got a cup of caramel iced latte which cost around RM5. The price is rather cheap compared to coffee from Starbucks or Coffee Bean. As for tastewise, I could not taste any caramel in it. I suspect the barrister forgotten to put the caramel in it or the coffee they used overpowered the caramel taste. I had to add syrup in my drink in the end as it was too bitter to finish.

This McCafe is a new addition to the old McDonald's at Taman Connaught. The cafe is only a small separate counter inside the old McDonald's. I tried the strawberry butter cake which was on display near the counter. The cake is quite expensive as the portion is rather small which is good for teatime but not breakfast which incidentally I was there for. The strawberry puree is very little and most of the taste is covered by buttery taste of the cake.
