Smile Dec 26, 2013

Sambal Tumbuk  Smile Dec 25, 2013

This sambal tumbuk really taste fantastic , is fresh grind chilies mixed with other spices served in without stir fried, so it does not oily like those sambal belacan goreng. It is nice to eat it with Fried Noodles. Can taste some lime juice which added in to enhance flavor to the sambal. Very addictive as you might keep dipping it. The spiciness at the right level not too hot and not too salty. Don't forget to

Fried Noodles Yee Mee Smile Dec 25, 2013

After trying many of the seafood stuffs like signature dishes Lala with superior broth , Kam Heoeng Crabs, Butter prawns, Deep Fried Squid and many more....Now wanted to try on some light stir fried , we ordered a single portion ( 單坐 ) of Fried Yee Mee and a plate of Singapore Stir Fried Meehoon ( 星洲米 ) . We love both of these as is taste a bit different if compared with those non halal hawker stall that normally stir fried with pork lard. Is pork free halal style noodles and Meehoon stir fried with chicken cubes , prawns, squids and some vegetables. For a single portion quite huge that enough for 2 small eaters at a reasonable price RM7. Overall taste not bad full of 'wok hei'.

Steamed Salted Chicken Smile Dec 23, 2013

tongue My second visit to this outlet at Sg Besi Branch. Another one located at Seputeh. The Sg Besi outlet here food taste better to me, same menu but taste slightly difference. I love the Steamed Salted Chicken very much as the texture of chicken meat chewy, they claimed is Kampung Chicken (马来鸡). Price for small RM25 worth to try it. The Gei Chi contributed a sweet taste to the broth , plenty of ginger slices and Chinese wine(花雕) giving nice aroma. Very appetizing, you can just have this dish with more then a bowl of white rice. Another dish that i would like to recommend is Homemade Tofu. Never find this menu at others restorant quite unique way to cook it, with minced meat and plenty of long bean dices and choy poh dices. Not too salty just at the right taste. Tofu smooth inside and crispy outer. the gravy taste good.
