I actually pretty liked this very much. It's very refreshing, as no other flavorings or seasonings were used other than the taste and flavor derives from the original ingredients itself. In this case, it's the salted eggs ^_^ The bitter gourd is fresh and balances out everything else perfectly too. My only complain is that they were rather stingy with the salted eggs.. I could barely taste them! Had they use more in the stir-frying of the dish it would have tasted even better!

You know, I noticed that when meat or meat bones are not in the picture; bak kut teh broths tend to taste "clearer" and more "Pure" as only herbs are used but there's no animal oil whatsover. That's why I super love Vegan Bak Kut Teh. And Medifoods does their version really very well. The broth being the star attraction is flavorful and super tasty; and i love all the organic condiments (among others bean curd puffs, straw mushrooms and cabbages) in it too lol

Hakka Lei Cha Fan  Smile Sep 30, 2013

This is supposedly one of Medifood's signature dishes. It's easy to see why. Lei Cha Fan is such a healthy yet delicious one-all meal. I super love it that they used mixed brown multi-grain rice and they really do braised the assortment of lei cha veges slowly so that they the aroma really do come through brilliantly. A heady assortment of braised peanuts, long beans, cucumbers and mixed cabbages among others awaits. super nice!

Having lived in Thailand for quite a bit, I have build quite a fondness for dishes with Basil in it. Though some people might think that the Basil fragrance can be really overpowering, I super loved it! This vegetarian fried rice option certainly does not disappoint. The aroma was delectable, and comes overflowing with a mixed variety of healthy organic vegetables, yaay!

Yee Mee Seaweed Soup  Smile Sep 30, 2013   (Related Review)

If you love Seaweed based soups, then you're totally gonna love this one.. So sweet yet refreshing! Tastes always like the Japanese version really, but slightly more saltish. The Yee Mee itself was just alright; but the mixed variety of veges was really good- carrots, mixed cabbages and lettuce, tofu, and of course loads and loads of seaweed with a dose of sesame seeds and sesame oil on top lol
