Not limit to local food, stalls here also provide options of Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. Banners with images of celebrities such as Liang WenTao (梁文韬 aka 韬韬), PSY, and also others in promoting their individual stall.

古早味卤肉饭 Old Time Flavor Braised Pork RM7.80
Came in big portion and that's it. Satisfied our stomach but not enough to please our tongue.

Snowflake Wanton Mee OK Oct 03, 2013

It has been years since we set foot in Sg Wang and if it wasn't for Gundam event that Jason would like to attend going on at the same shopping complex we might not have discover this non-halal food court.

雪花叉烧云吞面(干捞) Snowflake Wanton Mee (Dry) RM7.80
Char Siew made with the streaky part of pork belly gives both smooth and chewy texture. I found it to be flavorful yet the outer surface was a bit dry to complement the juicy inner. If only it would be crispy on the outside. Mee was average but the wanton deserved a thumbs up. Too many MSG nowadays we were amazed at the complimentary chicken soup that didn't have its presence.

Afternoon Tea OK Oct 01, 2013
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops

It is officially an addiction now, towards afternoon tea. Everything about macarons, cakes, scones, aromatic English tea, and all the little pretty things that come with it.
Out of so many places, we (together with Agnes) have chosen T Forty Two for its pretty decor. You'll see!

My all time favourite, the peppermint tea.
As I was expecting the pretty floral chinaware tea set (as seen from photos of other bloggers), I couldn't help but to be disappointed with the less attractive tea pot we had.

High T42
Served all day for only RM49.90/2 pax.

House-curred Salmon and Egg Mayonnaise Finger Sandwiches

Freshly Bakes Scones with Thick Cream and Berry Preserves

Rose Macaron with Raspberry Jelly and Lychee Cream, RM12.90++

Overall it was mediocre for the set.

Namoo On The Park Cry Oct 01, 2013
Categories : Korean | Café | Burgers / Sandwiches | Noodles

I believe many have heard of Namoo on the Park (full name would be Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe and Bistro on the Park), the first ever Korean Dessert Cafe in Malaysia, along with its famous Rice Burger.
Unfortunately, we are not here for that.

Cake of the Day (White Chocolate Marshmallow Cake) RM9.90
This is what my mischievous friends would described as the cake that goes to gym with super hard 6 packs. I should have added the word, "with no sweat".
Seriously hard and dry, two uncommon words in describing a cake.

Sweet Pumpkin Cake RM10.90
On the first impression, it looks like Kuih Ubi Kayu (translated directly as tapioca cake) to me.
It is basically mashed pumpkin puree, being mould into the form of solid cake.
And you can totally skip the part where the sugar was supposed to be added. Rather too healthy and not the type of cakes that we have all imagined. I bet it would be great as low calories cake (if it were to be marketed that way) for ladies on diet.

Both of these cakes have vanilla ice-cream on the side. Actually I wouldn't know how to name it, since it was not freezing cold and in half liquid form when it arrived on our table. Hey, it was not my photographing time that caused this. Having it together with the cake inside the mouth is like adding lubricant to smoothen it but nothing more.

We weren't satisfied with the two cakes above and decided to order one more cold dessert, hoping to have a happy ending upon leaving here.

The King's Bing Soo RM16.90
Shaved Ice with Rice Cakes, Red Beans, Strawberries, Kiwis, Bananas, Peanuts and Ice-cream Sprinkled with Multi-grain Powder
What's with the melted ice-cream? I just couldn't comprehend it.
The ratio of toppings and green tea shaved ice just doesn't tally: By the time we finished all the toppings, still lots of shaved ice left in the bowl. And again, this has no sign of sugar appearance.

Despite the very relaxing ambiance for a cup of coffee or a slice of cake while chilling out with friends, the cakes were not up to my expectation, or perhaps, it is just the Korean cake culture that this side of me could not comprehend. Shall go for the famous Rice Burger on next round and leave the cakes or any dessert with melted ice-cream behind.

We were disappointed to learn that the afternoon tea set were sold out at 4pm with less than one third of the seats occupied. Jason then suggested to try out their March promotion of Buy 3 for 2. The cakes were of soft textures and low sweetness level. Average with nothing to wow about.
