This is the place to go for awesome naan & tandoori. Can't believe after frequenting Malacca for years that I just only got to try this place out. The naan (whatever variety) is fluffy & soft. Goes great with the dal or you can opt to have any of the North Indian side dishes like palak paneer & butter chicken. The tandoori chicken itself is another treat. Tender, succulent and spicy. My mouth is just watering thinking about it.
Not to be missed joint in Malacca. I dare say it is one of the best if not the best naan & tandoori in Malaysia.

There are quite a few Nyonya restaurants in Melaka. This is one of the oldest & is the best around. Only issue would be getting in. Gets way too crowded during peak times especially on weekends.
Service is a hit & miss. When crowded they can get snappish however food does come pretty fast. They do try to quicken the turnover as business is brisk. The interior is clean & comfy decorated with Peranakan related items.
Notable dishes to try would be the Ayam Buah Keluak, Asam Fish, Cincalok Omelette, Nyonya Chap Chye, Ayam Pongteh, Sotong Sambal & Okra Kerabu. All fresh, super yummy & very authentic. The cendol is just so so. Do note they are halal.
Overall would definitely recommend as the place for Nyonya food when in Melaka. If you can get through the door that is.

awesome wild boar curry! Smile Aug 09, 2014

This place is famous for their wan tan mee served with many side orders. You can have the regular char siew, wild boar curry, chicken feet w/ musroom, pork leg vinegar, hakka stewed pork & even ginger duck. However I prefer their wild boar curry the most. It is fragrant & the meat is tender. Their noodles are hand made I think which is springy & has a good bite to it.

The shop itself is just a typical stall type place by the side of the road. Quite clean & parking isn't that much of a problem. Then again I only come late nights so not sure during peak hours.

One of my favourite chee cheong fun / yong tau foo stall in PJ. Well not best but most frequent as they open until late. Good selection of yong tau foo which are fresh & tasty. The special chee cheong fun is also good. Think Teluk Intan style where its stuffed with dried shrimp, preserved turnip & fried shallots. Top all of it with their yummy sauce and you are good to go!

lots of yummy options! Smile Aug 09, 2014

I practically have my dinner here at least once or twice a week. Working nights there aren't many variety or options out there but at Ming Tien at least am able to change around what I eat. They are open from 7am to 4am if I am not mistaken. Cleanliness is just so so like all massive food courts. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes its hard to get hold of the drinks waiters.

Good options to choose from would be the Bah Kut Teh (dry is the best), Vietnamese Rolls, Taiwan Sausage (spicy & bbq is my fav!), Claypot Chicken Rice, Pork Noodles, Sarawak Ko;ok Mee, Grill Fish, Shark Fin Soup (fake fins btw!), Osama Naan, Tandoori Chicken& for dessert the Apom stall which sadly is sold out by 10pm. As you can see I have eaten in almost all the stalls there.

Overall still a great place for a quick, cheap & quality meal.
