Soon after the opening of Loaf U Breakfast And Too Much at Lebuh Melayu, Penang, another outlet is open at Bayu Mutiara, Bukit Mertajam. I never really take the effort to go visit this outlet until recently, haha ! The crowd now is not as much as i expected it to be, like the one in Lebuh Melayu previously was really crowded when it first start operation.

The Turkey Ham is simple but tasty. The cheese and egg is oozing out from the bread making it so tempting to eat, haha !




Local Noodles + Chicken Patty + Egg RM 6.90

I don't really like the noodles, it is salty and the Chicken is very spicy for me, i can't even finish the chicken.


Mochaccino RM 4.00

The drinks is good, i like it .. though i feel that there is too much ice in the Mochaccino but it is still good.

Haha, I was out with friends the other day to discuss some really serious matter, haha ! I make is sounds like as if there is a big plan or thing coming .. haha ! We plan to go other place but eventually end up at Garage Coffee House, which is not a bad thing thou', I kinda like it here .. haha !

I really like the environment here, its comfortable and nice, suitable for a group discussion as well, haha ... the air conditioning does gets a little bit too cold but its still good, haha ! Went to call the waiter to turn down the air condition a few times. Their service is good in terms of attending to customers need.

For food, you will need to order it at the counter. Garage Coffee House have a wide range of food to choose from, there are Macaroni, Chicken Burger, Salmon, Pancake and many more. Go Go ! And be spoilt for choice, haha !

Carbonara With Bacon RM 16.90

The pasta tasted a little bit bland, it does not really features the taste of the carbonara, the only strong taste on the whole plate is from the bacon and egg. From the look, it does look tasty right ? Especially the half cook egg-yolk on top, its really OMG ! If you put that egg-yolk in front of two best friend, its going to end up with world war, fighting for that egg ! haha .. !

Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio RM 18.90

Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio taste nice. I love the spicy taste of it but do that note that it will be more and more spicy as you continue to eat on, haha ! The first few bites was ok, it gets more and more spicy as you eat more, hahaha !

Now for the drinks. The moment i look at the menu they placed on the wall, i instantly spotted Honey Milk with a big thumb by the side, so i went straight for it, haha !

Kek Chuan Road in Penang used to be just an ordinary road with old houses or maybe shop lots, well piglets are not sure about that, but the rows of building on both side of Kek Chuan Road used to be old. Now this small and short little road is transformed into a more lively place with few new cafe now open, photo studio, music centre and lots more.

Dolce Dessert Cafe is also situated at Kek Chuan Road, Penang

Dolce Dessert has a unique wall painting on it. Taking rat as their theme, the painting makes dolce looks different compares to other cafe in Penang. Don't worry, the rats are not the ugly looking type of rats, they will make you go .. "Auw !! Cute" ... hehehe !To see the rat holding the cheese as if they are running around Dolce Cafe does makes us hungry !!Dolce Cafe is a dessert house ! They sells different type of dessert ranging from cakes to macaroons. Some of the cakes there are uniquely designed just like the one we had which looks like a log with christmas tree. Yup, you heard us right .. it is a menu for Soul Cafe at Kek Chuan Road. Another nice cafe in this little old but revived road in Penang.When we first walk in Soul Cafe, we were kinda confuse, is its a photography store or a cafe ? And what is Sogor ? Well let us tell you, haha ! The confuse piglets trying to un-confuse their readers, haha ! Soul Cafe is a cafe alright, pretty much serve the purpose of a cafe .. haha ! with nice food and nice environment but with photography theme.FoodPhotosFrom what piglets understand, these photos hanging on the wall will be change from time to time and photographers will be invited by Soul Cafe to contribute their photos taken to be display here in Soul Cafe.And now how about Sogor ?? Koo Boo Cafe, at first we thought that this is a new western food cafe opening in Penang but after really look into it, we were surprise that this Koo Boo Cafe is actually a malay food restaurant or something like a food stall which is located by the road side of Jalan Tun Dr Awang at Bayan Lepas. So another HALAL food to add to our list. Koo Boo Cafe may looks like any other ordinary restaurant serving rice with few yummy dishes like Curry Chicken, Fried Chicken, Fish, Egg and few other drinks but what make Koo Boo Cafe special is the 7 different type of rice with different colour serve on one single plate, they name it Nasi 7 Benua ! Wow, awesome right the name ?It is simple, really ! To order, you just have to walk up to the rice counter next to the place where they place all the ready cook dishes. Tell the waiter your order, if you just want to eat nasi putih with some lauk, then just tell them, 'nasi putih satu' ! haha .. But we went for the Nasi 7 Benua, so our order basically goes like 'Bang, Nasi 7 Benua satu' .. haha, simple right ?The Nasi 7 Benua is actually served with only the 7 type of rice on it and a vegetable by the side. The chicken and egg were later added by us. So it is always recommended that you add some other side dishes to the Nasi 7 Benua from the ready cooked dish or else you will only be eating 7 different type of rice which tasted almost the same. The reason why we feel that way is because the rice comes in a small portion like a size of a small 'chinese tea' cup, that is why the taste of the rice does not differ much from one another. The different is only very mild unless, maybe if they come in big size then it will have a lot of different in term of taste.

This Nasi 7 Benua is tasty. The chicken and egg that we took is tasty too, as a Malaysia, how can we say no to rice right ? hahaha ! It is worth trying ..There are few types of drinks which is Free Of Charge if you dine in here at Koo Boo Cafe, one of it is this Teh O' Ice and Air Syrup. The waitress will tell which drinks is free when you order for drinks.Finding Koo Boo Cafe is actually not hard but you will have to look carefully in order to find it. If you are driving from Bukit Jambul Shopping Mall then you will drive through the junction into Relau area which is opposite of sPICE Arena. Then you will come to the first traffic light, drive straight until the second traffic light and make a u-turn on the right. Drive for about 100 meters, then you will see Koo Boo Cafe on your left. It is directly in front of the Sungai Ara football field near to Seri Delima Flat housing area.
