Seafood at Jalan Alor Smile May 21, 2016

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Kopitiam

The Teo Chew Seafood soup is very appetising. The soup tastes sour and salty and has the sweetness from the sea food. There is sotong, prawn, fish  meat and salted vege and crab filament.

The crab was worth it. Remember to order the big-sized one as it is really big. The crab meat especially the claw is very succulent and sweet.

The sea snail also known as balitong may be a bit slimy. The meat is not sweet and is a bit tasteless.

Penang Chicken Curry Mihun Smile May 19, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Food court

The chicken curry mihun at the Penang cuisine stall is definitely worth the try.

The broth is rich with curry taste.

During lunch hour especially from 1pm to 2pm the stall will be crowded with office staffs mostly. Yet, service is quick and you can get your meal ready in 10 minutes.

Cheap Talapia Fish  Smile May 19, 2016
Categories : Chinese | Seafood

The big sign that read "Talapia@RM9.90" caught my attention and I decided to dine in. lollollollollol

The fish is fresh from the restaurant aquarium and cost RM9.90 per fish. However, each table is only entitled to one fish as it is on a promotional rate. I ordered the ginger steamed Talapia because I like steamed fish. They have other styles of cooking, i.e. Thai style, fried, sweet and sour and etc. and all costs the same.

The claypot frog meat is not too bad, despite the meat being a little dry because they deep fry the meat first.

Cheesy Chicken@Western Star Cry May 16, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Food court | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

The western food at Oasis is quite cheap.

You can opt for rice or french fries with the chicken.

The chicken meat is served in very huge chunks and the texture of the meat somehow feels smooth yet dry. Portion might be too much for small eaters especially.

There are two choices for sauce - black pepper and mushroom.

Grilled Fish OK May 16, 2016
Categories : Malay | Food court | Seafood

Here at Puchong, the seafood is served Malay style.

Although grilled, the fish meat is very succulent and not dry, you can even taste the freshness of the fish.

The sauce doesn't go very well with the fish, I expected it to be more spicy with a bit of sour taste.

Price is inexpensive. The siakap fish is at RM4.90/100g.

The bamboo lala is also known as pepahat in Malay. It is not very fresh and the sauce is not so tasty.
