Artsy Place with Good Food! Smile Jan 21, 2016

The hidden Gem resides in Kajang, and the cafe & bakery looks extremely attractive with the european style designs, emphasizing Tiffany blue as the main colour theme. It was stated in the name saying that it's eatery, bakery and zakka. Indeed, for crafty lovers, the place makes you feel artsy and definitely lightened your mood with the art and craft decorations, and guess what, the sells washi tapes as well!

In this cafe, each corner looks pretty cute, and this would be a highlight for people who loves to take pictures. Plus,no worries, you can always bring big groups of people here for celebrations or gatherings since the place is very spacious and thus allows a larger capacity to accomdate more people! As from what I heard, the place is also suitable for special occasions like baby shower, birthdays celebrations or even wedding luncheon and proposals!

We came here for a light brunch, but ended up with ordered quite a lot and we liked the food! We ordered hawaiian pizza, pesto pizza and caesar salad, and the portion was quite satisfying. The chicken slices on the salad was no doubtly quite a big piece, instead of small chunks, yeah, I like it that way. The pizzas were sliced to 6 pieces respectively, and it's perfect for sharing, otherwise, I would say the portion is more than enough for me! In fact, I do agree on the serving size or portion of the food, with the marvelous taste, I would say that it worth the price.

I liked the flat white they served, it suits my preference for milky and creamy taste with slight bitterness. Everything they had, including the menus were well photographed and printed and were placed in a vintage box, making everything looked explicitly beautiful! Oh ya, besides hot cooking dishes, they also sell bake goods like breads and danish.

After reading certain reviews and blogspots about the restaurant, I just found out that they serves good main courses, with a team of kitchen crews led by a South African chef, and the dishes were being prepared and plated aesthetically! I ignited my interest to revisit this place to try out the other items on the menu!

Fabulously Good! Smile Jan 20, 2016

Initially my friends and I planned to dine in Opus but since we did not make reservations beforehand, we have to find another place since its fully book that night. We passed by this restaurant, with the lighting and interior designs looks clean and chic.  Without further hesitations, one of the waiter opens the door, and my friend walked in to the restaurant as if it was planned. The service personnel were friendly enough to guide us through the menu, and explained flawlessly about each of the items; professional and knowledgeable crews indeed. 👍

I ordered a chicken breast burger with appleslaw, I actually felt kinda embarrass for ordering such a kiddy meal in a high-end place, but it has attracted me at the first glance of the menu. It was so good, I have no regrets! The golden fries were seasoned will bacon bits, giving the fries more kicks! The appleslaw layered between the chicken breast and the buns were perfect matches. I can't tell exactly what it is but the taste of rosemary and spices, it's either the fennel seeds or cumin, blends so well with the appleslaw and I love how the taste lingers in the mouth.

Not forgetting to mention that the chicken breasts were grilled to perfection, sealing all its juices within itself, and releases in every bite! My friends ordered Aglio olio and baked penne with roasted vegetables. Both the pastas were good. But I still think that my burger is the best 😂, unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to take a real good picture of it, I was so so hungry, and the food looks enourmously delicious!  We had really good chit chat session together, and a good start shall comes with a good ending, dessert!

When the A-Class servers up sells the desserts we try to say no, but it sounded so tempting, so we agreed on sharing one. Crepe Suzette! It was delicious but the orange sauce were a lil' too sweet for me, but since it's topped with a scoop of not-so-sweet ice cream, there's not much of a problem. 😁 However, i was expecting the alcoholic taste to be a lil' stronger and thought that the orange slices would be slightly flambé, if there's a tweak of bitterness to the sweetness, it would be perfect for moi!

Overall, I'm positive for this place and will definitely revisit the place for more good food!

Nice Food, Nice Place to Chill! Smile Jan 20, 2016

It was a pleasant morning to have breakfast at 123 Gasing with a serene and quiet environment. I am happy to know that the cafe opens as early as 8.30am in the morning, allowing early birds to have their daily breakfast in such a such well furbished cafe.

The cafe wasn't very obvious and the signage itself may look like its some usual kopitiam as the other restaurants nearby is only mamak and chinese kopitiam. However, the cafe looks so clean and simple yet it feels like having breakfast in some western country, hahaha!

They offer early breakfast offers too such as Scramble Eggs and a cup of coffee cost around 10 ringgits. Well, but I ordered breakfast sandwich instead with a cup of flat white, and had purposely has chose the outdoor seating area to take photos with better natural lights.

The breakfast sandwich was normal english muffins if Im not mistaken with hash brown, eggs, cheese, ham, lettuce and mayo, accompanied with french fries. Well, I expect they toast the bread but they didn't so I was a bit disappointed for the lost of buttery fragrance and taste.

What I like about it was the food wasn't oily at oil despite the fact that many items on the food requires frying. I sincerely has less guilt eating the food! 😁The flat white I ordered was good enough for me. I ain't a hardcore coffee drinker neither do I can judge which is nice or not. But I like the flat white since the mild sweetness from the frothed or heated milk is just right for me without addition of extra sugar. 😍

My experience in 123 Gasing was pleasant, I would to revisit it for a brunch or breakfast for it's serenity and comfortableness. 👍

Nice Food with Good Portion! Smile Jan 20, 2016

The restaurant looked like a normal Chinese coffee shop or something like Kim Gary's. Nevertheless, the tiffany blue's interior has gave the shop a more liberal and cotemporary appearance.

What really attracts customers are the promotiion sets that they offer local dishes especially chinese cuisine including all sorts of rice and noodles dishes, which are familiar to most of the Malaysians. The place do mot serve halal food nevertheless. The set comes with a scoop of dessert and optional add ons of beverage for RM 2 to RM 3.

We ordered braided pork rice 卤肉饭,and also Black Pepper Grilled Chicken Chop Rice with Hot Milk Tea and Passionfruit soda respectively.

The portion of the food is very satisfying, and the food tasted quite good! Although the braised pork rice 卤肉饭 doesn't look and tasted exactly like the traditional one, but their version is still good in its own way.

Besides that, the Grilled Chicken Chop Rice with Black Pepper sauce was quite good too. Even though it is not something really special, but it satisfies the hungry stomach with decent portion and decent taste!

The service over here was good as the waiters are helpful as well. My aunt really like this place and had a good dining experience due to their prompt service and decent food. 👍

Nathan's signage and its name looked like it serves Asian cuisine instead, as we walk towards the shop, only we realized that t's a fast food restaurant. 😂 The price was quite expensive as compared to the other branches of fast food, moreover it does not offer lunch or dinner sets, with one meal cost around RM 18.

Well, it shall not be compared with the usual middle range of fast food such as Mc Donalds or KFC, but if it's being compared with higher-end fast food like Carls Junior, that would makes a little sense. In fact, Nathan's signatures aren't burgers but hot dogs, and has made me think about A&W with it's ever famous Connie Dog. Nathan's serves hot dogs with different kind of toppings, and the cheese sauce was being squeezed generously on the hot dogs.

Soft drinks are refillable, but not Lemonade (Regular RM 4.49) 😞 Nonetheless, my love for Lemonades still win over the the temptations of refills. I was grateful that the Lemonade was good, as the meal was quite heaty and cheesy.

We ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich stuffed with lots of beef, sauteed onions, peppers and mushrooms(Ala Carte RM 18.99), accompanied with Krispy Beef Cheese Fries covered with lots of cheese (Ala Carte RM 8.99)! Besides that, we had cheese burgers too as it was on promotion during our visit, so yeah! This favourite common comfort food was simply amazing with its juicy beef patty grilled to perfection, sandwiched between soft sesame toasted bun. (Ala Carte RM 14.99)
To make the ala carte hot dogs, burgers or sandwiches into a set which includes soft drinks and jumbo crinkle cut french fries, it adds up 4-5 ringgits, so it would be around RM 20 per set.
In overall, my the food was okay, since I ain't a huge fan of sausages, I can't tell it is good or bad. But for me, the cheese sauce was really creamy but it is lack of the cheese flavour as well. I wont mind coming back, but it's not gonna be on my priority list.

Since it is located at a hidden corner near the ice rink, it may not be easily spotted. One advantage would be the environment, the place is comfortable and quiet. What surprises me was, power supply is available here so I can charge my phone or do some work there.
