Hot day, Cold Drinks Smile Mar 23, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Burgers / Sandwiches

Such a hot weather now that deserve some cold drinks to chill yourself out. So, my friend and I decided to run into Caffeinated café around IOI Boulevard after finish some things to do @ bank. Although now is super-HOT weather but I still ordered a cup of HOT chocolate and a chocolate cake. *I am a super chocolate lover. Hehehe, I just try to check out their arts on coffee that’s why I ordered a hot drink. However, their coffee arts did not upset me. It is quite simple but for me that is NICE. With the serve of chocolate cake also, it is like double choco day.

However, my friend was trying to get some chilling ice drink – Mint drink. Okay, you can get a look from the photos. You will be like drinking a drink full of leaves. Not bad to try that out, it is quite chilling in the hot weather with whole mouth full of mint leaves taste haha. If you want to eat the leaf, you can try that out also. All these are not above than RM35. You just walk in and find a comfortable sit either you want to sit beside a wall full of photos or a clear glass to look through the window see how fast the pace of life. kingkingking

Simply Love This Place Smile Feb 01, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Seafood

The first time walking into this place, I sincerely felt like I was back in Korea again. This restaurant is very simple. It occupies half a shop lot so you can basically tell how simple this place has to be. The decor in here is all white. A very very simple and clean feel to the place. This place is owned by Koreans and while visiting you can often see the owner's daughter walking in and out and talking to her mum, who is is the kitchen cooking, super loudly like what most Koreans do. I simply just love this place! Here, you could order drinks but they also offer water which you have to go get yourself (like in most restaurants in korea). The people here are very friendly too. I would say 80% of their customers are Koreans who live in Malaysia. This place, like its name, obviously tells you that their kimbabs are amazing. Kimbabs are basically koren sushi. They even supply kimbabs to Korean supermarkets around the area but if you want them rolled fresh on the spot, you have got to visit this place. Another nice dish here is their DdeokMandu, which is basically Korean dumplings and rice cakes in a beef broth together with eggs and seaweed. Recently, they have introduced another Korean favourite which is Don-Katsu (Fried pork chop) but with cheese so it is cheese don-Katsu loved by all koreans in Korea. The cheese here is seriously amazing and springy. As you can see from the picture, I have also tried their kimchi Jiggae and ddeokboki which are both really great as well but not the best Around. (Hint: stay tuned to my profile if you want to find out where the BeSt ddeokboki is in Malaysia, also the where serves the best Kimchi Jiggaes). So, there's no need to ask further, no need to think anymore. Just get yourself to 88kimbab to try out their food and you'll forever see yourself returning to the place over and over again!

A 50-50 chance OK Feb 01, 2016

You can basically find delicious in any mall you visit. It just so happens I end up at Delicious for my meal almost everytime I end up in Sunway Pyramid. My family loves the food here but I'm really just not into their food. I'm not sure if it is every Delicious outlet, but I personally do not fancy the staff here. Every time I walk in, it takes at least 3 minutes before I get my menu. Sometimes, I even wonder why I pay for service tax here because I have to walk up to the counter to get the waiter's attention so they will come take my order. But bad service aside, the interior here is very nice. All Delicious restaurants have a light blue, white and black theme. Their decor is simple yet sufficient to make the store look classy. They also serve you water (FOC), but I have complaint about this, make sure to check your glasses before you pour your water into it because the glass may be dirty. Now, let's dive into their food. Here, their pastas are really nice, but they are a little pricey. They cost around 30+ to about 40 per pasta. So, if you happen to visit with friends and are on a budget, no worries, you can order their eggs Benedict (which is quite good) or my personal favorite appetizer, the Italian nachos, which has pesto sauce, onions, tomato purée, cheese and basil on the nachos. Mind you, this dish is VERY filling. They also serve local foods like nasi Lemak, nasi kerabu and other local foods. But, these local foods here cost you a BOMB! Around RM30 for a nasi lemak  a nasi kerabu each. I've ordered their nasi kerabu cause I can't find it easily unless during bulan Ramadhan. So I feel it is okay to order the nasi kerabu but definitely it the nasi lemAK. So... It's really a personal preference when it comes to the Delicious chain of restaurants. You could either real love this place or hate this place depending on your preference.

Western food with amazing prices OK Jan 31, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

it is not easy to find affordable yet reasonable quality western food around. Even the western food at a mamak outlet can cost up to 15. But fear not, as of last year, this place called hungry bunch opened up in Sunway pyramid. Yay!! Sunway to me is like a university town as there are many colleges and universities in the area. The place is always swarming with students and i feel hungry bunch did an amazing job opening up in Sunway pyramid. Their prices definitely cater to the students in the area. If I were a student in the Sunway area and was craving some western food but am on a budget. Hungry bunch would probably be my choice compared to Delicious. Walking into this restaurant, you'd definitely feel like you're in a hipster cafe. The decor here is simply interesting yet very sImple at the same time. It looks stunningly beautiful yet doesn't look like the person decorating needed to put much effort into decorating. Moving on to the food, the food here is definitely affordable for students, especially the set lunches that are on weekdays. Inclusive of tax, you'd pay let's say about 25 for a full meal that will come with your main meal, a drink, soup and a dessert. Amazing, right? My main meal I got was a fettuci carbonara (in the pictures attached), my drink was an iced lemon tea, my soup was mushroom soup and desserts were ice cream. This meal was simply filling for a person like who has a bi appetite. For an average girl, I'd suggest you share this set lunch with one of your girl friends. That way you'll satisfy your western food craving and save more money too, better yet you'll feel super full still. I'd say go for this place if you want to save money and still have reasonable quality western food.

Western Vegetarian  OK Jan 30, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Vegetarian

Last time went to The Atmosphere to have a walk and photo capture with friend, we have no idea where to have our lunch after whole morning walking around. So, we decided to check out some nice food from SWARM app. Then we found this restaurant, the outside was quite eye catching with the whole black wall paint. The interior was also very nice especially the wall that full of pictures arrange neatly on the way with black colour as the base colour. Ya almost forgot to mention that this restaurant is a WESTERN VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. It is quite rarely to see a western vegetarian restaurant around us, normally we can get vegetarian food from chinese vegetarian restaurant that served in chinese style. Back to topic - FOOD….. Their foods are quite pricey, maybe because they are the kind of western food but served in vegetarian. So, we had ordered fried rice and a potato & pumpkins cheese baked. Their fried rice quite a big plate that enough for two girls’ appetite. Besides, the potato & pumpkins cheese baked is value to price….. Each spoon you scope, you either get full of potato and pumpkins mix. Lastly, there table waiting is quite take time but their waiter is very friendly. Furthermore, you can get their latest news about new dishes or promotion through wechat. Have a nice day, people. lollollol
