the sukiyaki is served while it sits on a portable gas stove
if you are not comfortable with the safety of the gas stove, you may want to re-think about ordering this
the beef is raw and is served on a separate plate so that you can cook it on your own
you will also be given one raw egg which you can use as your dipping sauce
the suki yaki soup is filled with vegetables and tofu

so apparently you can put mentai on almost anything
besides tamago (egg) sushi, the chefs at sushi zanmai also has created mentai on top of crab meat
and i am glad to say that it isn't crab meat from a crab stick but actual crab meat
this sushi was plated on a pink plate which makes it slightly more expensive than the tamago mentai sushi which was plated on blue plate

i took this soft shell crab sushi off the conveyor belt
it was sitting on a red plate which signifies the price
white plates are the cheapest and it gets more expensive as the color of the plates get darker
the soft shell crab sushi sits on a drizzle of mayonaise
the sushi has just enough rice and balanced with jsut enough soft shell crab

sushi zanmai has a sashimi bar
in the little display coolers are packed ice and sitting on them gleaming under the light are sashimi fish

 
behind the same counter is where the chef makes the salmon roll
for RM13.80 per plate the salmon rolls are salmon bellies wrapped around sushi rice
it is paired with a spicy thousand island sauce

pasta zanmai at paradigm mall has a semi open concept where people outside can get a good glimpse of what the customers are eating inside
this must be a marketing strategy by the owners

 
the crab meat is actually form the crab stick
and it sits on rice which is neatly packed inside a bean curd skin
