Normally you find salted fish with claypot rice or bean sprouts, but i was really excited to see that Jit Seng Restaurant has this dish called salted fish mee hoon. They fried the salted fish with the mee hoon. i ordered it without hesitation. it was really good. the mee hoon was cooked perfectly, it was very chewy, not soft and soggy at all. the salted fish gave the dish a saltish flavour. it goes absolutely well with the mee hoon.

Normally you can only find chicken hams in sandwiches and on pizza and bun. I was pretty much surprised to find it in a crepe. Yup! Crepe 2 u has a chicken ham crepe. It was pretty good. The salty chicken ham pieces combine with the mayo and chilli sauce made the crepe taste so good. The fresh vegetables gave it a crisp taste. It was really good.

I could not decide when to eat from Restoran Hong Guan so i finally settled on their Chicken rice with bitter gourd. it was really good. the chicken was so tender and succulent, it was cooked perfectly cos overcooking can cause the meat to taste tough and dry. the bitter gourd was my favourite part of the dish, it was not bitter at all, which is not surprising cos for bitter gourd dishes, the chef will remove the bitterness from the bitter gourd before serving to you. it was simply delicious and tasty.

I was pretty amused when the waiter serves me my food from Kim Gary. I ordered their cheese baked rice with pork chop. It was served on a dim sum container. They laid the container with aluminum foil. They were really generous with the amount of cheese that tops the rice. It practically covers every bit of it. I love how cheesy the dish is. They also added vegetables to be baked with the rice and cheese. Pretty healthy I guess. It was so good!

I decide to skip those main course for lunch and order a savory crepe instead. I ordered the crabmeat crepe. It was my first time eating a savory crepe. I really enjoyed it. I like the juiciness of the crabstick. They were pretty generous with the amount of crabstick that they added to the crepe. There was also some vegetables inside. It was drizzled with mayo so it did not taste too dry. Pretty filling for lunch!
