The weather was pretty hot so my daughter suggested we shared a cup of tutti fruitti frozen yoghurt. I let her choose the flavour and toppings. She did not like to mix flavours so she got us the melon flavour. The melon flavour was really good, i like the fruity twist that it gave the frozen yoghurt. The melon flavour was not too overpowering too but it has its own distinct taste. The frozen yoghurt has this icy taste, I like the way it went down my throat, very cooling. Their yoghurt was very smooth too. I found it with helpful in those hot weathers. Very shiok!

I always have a soft spot for Thai food. To me, Thai food equals spicy and sour and not so fattening. So when I saw the Tom yum mee Hoon soup from sedap corner, I knew that this was the dish I was going to order. The Tom yum soup was indeed a delight to have, it was not too sour nor was it too spicy. It makes you want to drink mouth after mouth. The mee hoon was very fine, it did not soak up the soup. I thought this dish was really good and tasty!

I never thought tuna will go well with pasta but when I ordered the creamy chili tuna pasta from seasons cafe, it totally changed my opinion of tuna and pasta. The tuna taste was pretty distinct but it was well balanced with the chilli and the cream sauce. I did not find it too spicy as well, I think cos the spiciness was balanced out by the cream. The combination really works, it was an excellent dish!

I find it pretty amusing how planet popcorns name their popcorn. They have this popcorn called choc man. It was actually chocolate flavour popcorn. My daughter got it from planet popcorn at city square. The popcorn has this rich chocolaty taste, it did not taste really sweet. I like the crunchiness of their popcorn. I think it is a very interesting creation. I think chocolate goes well with everything especially popcorns.

I have always been a fan of otah. I would have it at least once a week. So when I saw lavender bakery selling otah buns, I knew I had to get it. I bought two in fact! The otah was very tasty, it did not have a fishy smell. The otah was not too spicy as well so if you have this bun in the morning, you need not fear of getting a hot and uncomfortable stomach during the day. The bun was soft and fluffy, goes really well with the otah. It was really satisfying.
