I think the stone grill hot pots at kim gary is indeed worth a try. it was worth every cent you pay for. just take a look at the amount of ingredients they topped the rice. it was so filling for me. i ordered their unagi version. it was really good. the unagi was really fresh. the meat was so sweet. it was mouth watering. i like the sauce that they provided, it enhanced the flavours of the rice and the unagi!

I went to Old Town White Coffee with my colleagues for lunch. i decided to try their Individual Dulang set. It was pretty worth it for the RM16.90 i paid. It was a three course meal with comprise of a drink, the main course and a dessert. the drink was really good. it was Rose Nata Selasih. i think the combination of the rose syrup and nata de coco was really good. The dessert i picked was gela melaka ice kachang. the gela melaka made the entire dessert very refreshing and delicious.

delicious side dishes Smile Aug 18, 2013

I went to Bornga for lunch with my friends. I simply love the amount of side dishes they have. Some of it comes in huge portions and every thing there is refillable. what more can you ask for. we ordered their marinated beef. it goes absolutely well with their side dish. i thought their kimchi tasted really good, like the one i had in korea. the kimchi was not too spicy and it was a little sourish. the pickled raddish is really good. it is so sour that it simply whets your appetite.

fried Kway teow Smile Aug 18, 2013   (Related Review)

I always steer clear of fried Kway teow cos my impression of it is very oily and fattening. So when my daughter helped me to order that before I arrived, I was not too excited for it to be served. However to my surprise, it did not turn out how I expected it to be! In fact it was not oily at all. The Kway teow was cooked perfectly, it had a chewy texture. The dish was not very dry as well and it tasted really tasty. They were pretty generous with the portion too. Looks like my opinion of fried Kway teow changed from this plate!

curry noodles  Smile Aug 18, 2013

I was craving for those delicious coconut milk kind of curry. So when I spotted curry mee on the menu of AK, I knew I had to have it. Their curry mee was really good. The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soggy and they do not stick to your teeth. The curry gravy was just right, not too watery. You can taste the freshness of the coconut milk. It was so fragrant and aromatic. I did not find it too spicy as well!
