Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

Perched at the end of Jalan Siam, this char kuey teowl stall has been a favorite among the Penangites since it opening many deciding back. The first thing we heard from the uncle is 'remember, you need to wait 40min for your order'shocked! It's cook with charcoal flame and brimming with the 'wok hei'. The hardworking uncle continuously add fresh charcoal into the stove and fan it vigorously to maintain the heat when frying. Well, we're sit next to the stall restaurant for wait to the 40min char kuey teow and having our drink that order in the restaurant. While the char kuey teow served, I can see that the fragrant of the food starting blow to my nose. The ingredient as normal egg, cockles, bean sprouts, Chinese shives ,shrimp and more.. It's been cooked by charcoal so I like it so much. Maybe we been wait for 40min so were super hungry and I fell it so nice but it's really is so nice. While we're leaving, I still seeing people queuing for their char kuey teow. Thumb up !

The edge, best food in Penang. It's take some time for us to find out this restaurant because it's located on the edge, in front of a camera shop. First impression are good. The 'restaurant' is a typical coffee shop that's only serve their famous roasted pork. The sits sell out fast when you're late. The working hour only 2 hour it's 11-2 ,so we decided go on 11a.m morning. When the clock strikes 12pm sharp, the shop are occupies with the smell if roasted pork and full of people. Well, the service was not so good. (Noted: everyone who's sit in the Sky Restaurant need to have a cup of drink if not you may charge RM0.30.) I didn't see this sign in any restaurant ever.. shocked

Ya..the famous Penang Cendol.Youre never been to Penang unless you're been to Penang famous cendol.. It's cost cheap.mad. Well,it look like an ordinary cendol.i feel that it's quality is inconsistent but that could be due to factor such as weather and my first time I eat it.. It's have the usually cendol jelly, kidney bean, brown sugar and santan and a bit crushed ice. There's a Asam Laksa beside the shop too. (Noted: if you want to have cendol inside the Asam Laksa restaurant, need to pay RM0.50 per bowl shocked). It's so crowded whenever there's no public holiday , school holiday especially on a burning sun hot afternoon! shocked
Price: cendol,RM1.50
Ais kacang, RM1.70

Crowded people  Smile Nov 18, 2013

Its charming nostalgic setting – with old school dark wooden chairs, round marble tables, old portraits and hand-written menu hanging on the wall takes you back to days of yore. Still, Yut Kee is institutional, and rarely would one see the humble coffee shop empty during breakfast or lunch hours. The queue is pretty epic. The queue is manage fast and good with the counter shocked well, about the food, it's was tasty too especially the French toast with a special kata on it! Let's check it out! Never leave the shop without the famous roasted pork roll,(chicken, pork, beef, lamb) chop, belacan fried rice, hai lam noodles and more too! We can see that the food is served fast with the crowded people standing and staring on your food. It can say as out state attraction with Chinese traditional cuisine and restaurant. Try it.
