Cabbage Kimuchi Smile Jul 30, 2012   (Related Review)

Cabbage Kimuchi - RM2.80

If you're a kimchi or veggie lover, then do try our their Cabbage Kimuchi. I didn't really fancy kimchis, but the ones here were pretty good. Cabbage Kimuchi is actually made from preserved cabbage. It tastes like cabbage with chili pepper, garlic, and scallions and served in cold. It was abit spicy if you are not used to it and may cause you to drink a lot of water.

Wafu Kyuri Salad - RM2

Wafu Kyuri Salad is another must try side dish. It is actually made of cucumbers and served with Japanese vinegrette. The wafu sauce itself was a unique thing for me, which had a mustard-like colour and texture to it. Ikuzo Ramen do sell bottles of these wafu sauce separately at RM12.90 per bottle. The cucumber taste so naturally fresh with the wafu sauce.

Harumaki Smile Jul 30, 2012

Harumaki RM3.90

Another fried and savoury dishes in the form of the delicious Harumaki. Harumaki is literally translated as spring roll and usually deep-fried until the outside becomes deliciously crispy while the inside stays soft and full of flavour. Ikuzo served Harumaki with pork as meat and some vegetables as their main fillings ingredients. But it was rather oily for me.

Patatas Bravas Smile Jul 30, 2012   (Related Review)

Patatas Bravas - RM8.90

Patatas Bravas was actually fried baby potatoes and cooked in a spicy sauce of tomato, garlic, smoked chilli sauce and gravy with some lemon aioli. This starter was really spicy if you are not a used to hot and spicy food. Even though the potatoes were being fried, it still maintained the soft part from the inner side. The mayonnaise served well with this starter.

Afrutado Drink Smile Jul 30, 2012

Afrutado Drink - RM24.90

Afrutado is an Spanish expression widely used to describe the fruity character of a wine. Some will used the expression called frutal.

The Afrutado juice we had that evening came with pipeapple, mint leafs, lime, lemon, orange, passion fruits & apple juice. It was sourly in taste with some bitterness. The whisky came in well presentation which created great tempting too. You can request for non-alcoholic Afrutado for only RM19.90 too.

Overall, a good drink to unwind should you dine in Shepherdoo.
