BBQ chicken wing OK Sep 26, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Food court

Grilled chicken wing or fried chicken wing are something you can always find in Chinese hawker in Malaysia. BBQ chicken wing is what you can find almost every corner in Kuala Lumpur. After dinner, bought back some BBQ chicken wing as snacks. It was well marinated and the skin was actually crispy! The end part of this BBQ chicken wing is my favour as it is so crispy yet tasty. Not oily at all.

Cheese baked rice OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

When you are in a Hong Kong restaurant like Kim Gary, there will always be at least a pot of cheese-baked dish. Ordered this cheese-baked rice with pork and it comes with some brocolli and tomatoes baked together with the rice and pork cutlet. Cheese is still ok for a commercial restaurant. Rice is well cooked. Intact and nice to eat with the cheese-baked meat. Not too salty but beware, you may find it too cheesy after a while.

Ever think of drinking bitter gourd juice?
Ordered white bitter gourd juice from Kim Gary Restaurant. I am glad that they do serves this as we can't simply find it in Malaysia. White bitter gourd juice is really famous back in Taiwan. People drink that when they feel body heaty and they treat it like a normal juice. Taste wise this is not bitter at all. It is sweet after some addition of sugar but fresh and light. Nice to try.

Like I said, when shopping time is more valuable than your lunch time, take away your food.
I do always buy bento set from Isetan KLCC. Bought this sashimi bento set and was feeling satisfied. The salmon and red tuna sashimi were thick enough and meats are succulent and fresh. When it is fresh, it carries slight sweetness. Very nice to eat with wasabi and soy sauce. Salmon sushi roll were something to make me full, yes, they are nice too!

Beef Satay OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Beef satay is something people love in Malaysia. Not all the Malaysian eats beef but this is a famous local food for everyone. For beef satay, it is best in the taste of the beef. I like how strong is the taste that makes the whole thing nicer. However, not everyone can accept the smell of the beef or even mutton, some prefers lesser smell of the meat. These satay grilled to perfection, meat was tender though! Very nice to eat with the peanut sauce.
