Chicken Satay OK Sep 26, 2013

Categories : Malay | Restaurant

For an office work, we always love it when somebody bring some foods back for us. No matter what food, it will seems alot more delicious to us. Colleagues took away chicken satay from Subang area after site visit, Pondok satay we always called it . The meats are mostly thin meat which is really good. Satay was charcoal grilled to perfect golden but some over-grilled. Satay was coated with honey which makes the whole thing really nice.

Sorry for the bad quality of picture because this cockles sambal is TOO YUMMY that my mind was not bothering of taking a nicer picture. Sorry my bad. This cockle sambal (sambal kerang) that we had ordered for gathering is nice. It was cooked with some big onions and chilli oil with sambal. We did ordered some nasi lemak to eat with it and hence, it was finished in few minutes. Not too spicy for me, fresh cockles and very nice sambal.

Ramen Soup OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Senya restaurant is famous for their in house noodles soup, regardless of ramen or udon, all soupy dish are famous. The reason why they are famous is because they do out some efforts in boiling the soup. The broth will be thicker than the one you find in other Japanese restaurant and really nice. The normal ingredients of the soup is always the seaweed, spring onions, some meat and the handmade ramen. Very nice.

Udon Soup OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Senya restaurant offers a menu ranged from sushi, rice to udon soup. Even in this small express restaurant inside Isetan, this is considered up to the standard and nice already. Ordered udon soup that came in big bowl and portion is average. Broth of the udon soup is thick and cloudy. It tasted sweet. It came with japanese fish cake, seaweed, sprinkled with spring onions. Udon has a chewy texture. Nice to eat.

Recommended Dish(es):  Udon Soup

Inari Sushi OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Inari sushi can be an ala carte or come with the lunch set.
Inari sushi here comes in two slices for the combo set. It was made by wrapping some sushi rice into the bean curd skin, the skin is really sweet, I have no idea how they do it but Inari is my favour among all the sushi! In addition, the bean curd skin is not too dry, it is moist and sweet. Good to eat alone or with some wasabi.
