Fried carrot cake Smile Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

This small restaurant is located in wangsa maju at one of the corner side near the small roundabout. Just next to a korean food restaurant.
This time i came hete and have a try on fried carrot cake. So this is a clear picture of it:

Somebody call it as fried lobak, but somebody call it as fried carrot cake. Welll i can just say that different district will have different name for the food.
The fried carrot cake is crunchy. Normally they will serve it with two sauces. One is like the sambal which you can see from the photo, the one with deeper red colour, a little bit spicy. The other one is the sweet sour sauce, the one we can got it from supermarket.
One piece of this only cast around rm1.00. Normally a person can take two pieces of this and order some dessert as drink.

This is one of the best dessert house in setapak. The cheapest in town too. This is what i ordered, the dessert which is familiar to everyone of us.

Yeah, it is red bean soup. A bowl of this just cost me rm1.00++. Can u believe this price still exists in kuala lumpur?
I can say that the taste of the red bean can be compared with all those expensive restaurant. The portion is just nice for a person.
So it is worth to have a try at this small restaurant.

Last time i tried out their lamb chop, this time i would like to try out a different thing which is soft shell crab. I love to try out soft shell crab whenever ar wherever i saw people selling.

When i first saw it, it makes me mouth watering. It looks kinda attractive. So i try out the salad first, it is the same like the one serve with lamb chop. Tastes okay. Then i try out the soft shell crab. It makes me felt quite disappointed as the crab tastes quite oily. Great disappointment as it is not like what i expected. A plate of this cost me around rm20. I hope they will have some improvement on this.

It is a small restaurant located at pv128. Ground floor near corner side. I came here to have my dinner. I ordered a plate of lamb chop as this is what the chef recommended. This is the clear picture of it

The portion is quite big. U can choose the sauce for the lamb chop within the choices of mushroom, brown sugar and black pepper. They also serve it with mash potatoes and their homemade salad. The meat tastes fresh and juicy. It is delicious. The mash potatoes is nice too. A plate of lamb chop cost me around rm20. So it is considered as worth. Good try;)

Recommended Dish(es):  Lamb chop

Spending per head: Approximately RM20(晚餐)

Dessert OK Sep 28, 2013   (Related Review)

So here i am for my tea. De pastry chef not only serve main dishes, they do serve many types of dessert as well. There are pies, cakes, cokkies, bread too. So this time i ordered a slice of mango cheese cake as my dessert.

This is how it looks like. It tastes quite good, a little bit sour. The cheese is soft and nice. Overall it is okay but i do not like the strawberry on top. It tastes really sour and not juicy at all. This makes me wonder how long they have stored this cake in the refrigerator. A slice of cake cost me around rm7.00.
