Stir fried vegetable  OK Dec 18, 2013   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

The restaurant sells extensive menu of choices of dishes in chinese cuisines and nicely giving it a twist with some very home cooked recipe and technique. Tai chau and siu chau is actually probably the closest food to home cooking style one can find when not lucky enough to dine at home all the time. When away from home after a certain period of time, mother's cooking becomes the most delicious food one can ever find in the entire world.Simple dishes like stir fried vege is best to represent home flavours. Simple frying technique to bring out the natural flavour of each vege.

Lee sin kok lian is located along Jalan Batu Berendam and is quite confusing with the one direction road if not familiar with this area. The GPS coordinate locates somewhere at an approximate location of 2.249752,102.255163. They accommodate to the needs of the locals and around this neighbourhood people are familiar with the restaurant and the dishes they served. The Claypot tofu serves with more than tofu. Also in it is some pork slices, prawns and mix vegetables.

Apart from noodle, there are fried rice and some "siu chau" where white rice is served with some dishes. But the noodles were the ones that is popular among the customers here. This hokkien udon noodle that I ordered was ok. Not the best I have had, but palatable. The texture of noodle was good, but the flavour fall a little short.

MMU corner is one of the many shops adjacent to one another all conquering almost the entire street at this area in the Bukit Beruang. Named after the nearby Multi Media University, the MMU caters mainly to younger students mainly from outstation. Approaching evening, the crowd starts filling the place and the air begins to be filled with fragrant and beautiful aroma of assorted varieties along this street. There is definitely something for everyone here. They serve a great variety of Asian food with a wide range of choices of food as well as a great assortment of beverages.
The pan mee here was not bad, with lots of shitake muchroom slices and anchovies. Soup is sweet thanks to the generous use of anchovies.

Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Bak Kut Teh

Here is one interesting video to actually experience the ambiance at this place. The shouting is consistently continuous and one can hardly figure out what the shouting is all about. If you do not mind how this is affecting your mood when you eat, by all means the bah kut teh ala teo chew style is nevertheless good and worth visiting. It is always pack and forever crowded.
