Fried Paku Smile Jul 31, 2013

BBQ Thai Street Food is a restaurant with an open air and wooden huts design, and had a unique setting with Thai and Malaysian mix. Fried Paku is nice, but the portion is average. Love the spices they put in, the amount of spices compare to the paku is consider a lot, and that's make the paku tasty. A little on the spicy side, but goes along well with the rice. Paku is not too old and crunchy.

The fried noodle is tasty and the portion is just nice. Mixture of both kueh teow noodle and mee noodle, and fried with minimal oil. The meat and prawn is fresh and marinated well. The place is well air-conditioned and cozy, thus the price of one fried noodle is doubled compare to the one in stalls. Still a good place for lunch and dinner. Madam kwan has now a lot of outlet besides its popular KLCC and Mid valley.

Creamy coconut curry noodle is one of my favourite too. It doesn't taste too hot, but just right. Love the way they decorate with mint leaves, makes it very appetizing. Hoping the portion of noodle to be more as we are having for dinner. The taste of the curry is not too salty and easily getting the broth to the tummy. Bean spout is fresh and this bowl of noodle is delicious.

Yummylicious dessert - Red bean cendol. The popular dessert after food in Madam Kwan. The red bean paste is simply smacking delicious and the serving is fine. A little sweet but perfect for sweet tooth. The red bean paste is well cook and blended well, and cendol added to this great cup. Its filled with gula Melaka, cane sugar, and overall its a lovely dessert. ;)

Madam Kwan outlet in Bangsar Shopping centre is ideal as a lunch or dinner hang out place. Quiet and cozy, they are a lot of people during peak hour too. We tried the famous fried kueh teow and its tasty. The kueh teow noodle is not too oily and the bean sprout is not overcook and still crunchy. Prawn, is fresh and big, serving is just nice for one person per plate and love it.
