Categories : Western variety | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Cupcake Chic is a stall which located at first floor on Sunway Pyramid. As per their shop name, their speciality of course in on cupcakes. No dine in is available, only take away. You even can order online for self pickup or request for delivery. Their cupcakes flavour divided into four categories, Classic, Lies, Love 'Em and Just For Fun. Beside cupckaes, they also sell macarons. I have ordered half dozen of cupcakes for birthday celebration. Now is time to describe the cupcakes that I bought:

Top from left to right:
Red Velvet(Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting)
Fatal Attraction(Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting),
Rich & Cool(Belgian Chocolate cake with Peppermint frosting)

Bottom from left to right:
Strawberries ‘n Cream(Strawberry filled cake with Vanilla frosting)
Tiramisu(Coffee infused cake with cream cheese frosting)
Cookie Dough(Chocolate marshmallow cake with chocolate frosting)

Overall, all the cupcakes are nice, but a little too sweet for me. If you plan for birthday celebration, you can request the staff to write some words on the cupcake or put some decorations on it.

Breakie at Lin Restaurant OK Sep 08, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam

Restaurant Lin is located at the corner shop lot just opposite Kelana Jaya Park, near by Kelana Jaya Lakeside. It is just a normal chinese coffee shop where it has few stalls selling pork mee, yee mee soup, kowloo mee, char keow teow, and prawn mee. In the morning, it also sells nasi lemak biasa and bihun goreng biasa in a packet. There is nothing much to talk about the environment, just a normal chinese kopitiam. There are plenty of car park in the morning (before 9am), but I think the car park will be full later in as there are plenty of offices nearby. Today, I just dropped by this restaurant before going to work. I have ordered one of their pastry, chicken floss puff and a cup of hot white coffee. There puff is really delicious and it is unique because normally the ingredient for puff is curry chicken and kaya paste. The coffee smells good. Overall, this breakfast make a good start of my day.

Fresh Fruits after lunch OK Sep 08, 2013
Categories : Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

Fresh Fruits is a stall that is located near by Maxis and Adidas shop, just beside Italian Conepizza in Sunway Pyramid. As per the stall name, Fresh Fruits is a kiosk that offer wide variety of fresh fruits. They present/display the fruits in such a way that attract people attention. From far, you can see the various of colourful fruits display in stick type (just like satay). The stall looks very clean as well. One of their famous is the fresh fruit box, which contains different type of fresh fruit. All the fruits are sweet and fresh and you can add some sour plum powder or rojak sauce to make it taste better. However, today I am craving for water apple, so just bought one "STICK" and put some sour plum powder. It is indeed very fresh, crunchy and juicy. Really a good appetiser after dinner.

Lunch at Yip's Kitchen OK Sep 08, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

Yip's Kitchen 業小廚 is located at Lower Ground of Sunway Pyramid. Yip's Kitchen Noodle Specialist started off their business with a shop in Subang Indah in early 90's. They were considered one of the shop that serves better wantan noodles around the Subang area. As per their shop name, they are specialise in various type of noodle, and the signature noodle would be the wantan noodle. The environment is nice and comfortable. We have ordered Yip Kee Special Dry Curry Chicken Noodles, Wok Minced Pork Noodles and Yang Chow Fried Rice. However, I feel that all the noodles we ordered are not up to the standard we expected, as a Noodle Specialist. The side dish, Deep Fried Golden Cup that we ordered also have nothing to shout out. We are also disappointed with the service here, very slow. The price also expensive compare and I think is not worth the money. Overall, I am very disappointed with the food here.

Dining at Hainan Tea OK Sep 07, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Nasi Lemak

Hainan Tea Kopitiam is located in SS2 area, same row as Murni Restaurant. This is another kopitiam franchises other than Old Town and Pappa Rich in Malaysia. The restaurant ambiance is cozy with wifi and great service. Indoor is air-contioned while outdoor is along the side walk. It is a bit hard to get car park along the shop lot. Worst case is to park at the near by open space ace park. I have ordered one of their signature dish, which is Hainan Cheong Fun. The cheong fun has an golden-brown appearance which is a mixture of sweet sauce and peanut butter. The cheong fun is tightly sealed and lumpy. Surprisingly, the taste is very unique and I like it very much. For the main course, I have ordered Just Mee Soup which is so so only. The 3 layer toast is just simply 3 pieces of baked bread where they put kaya and butter in between the bread. Nothing to comment as the taste just like normal kaya toast. The ice coffee not bad, especially having it after the meal. Overall, I think the food is a bit pricey and the food quality is not there yet.
