Spaghetti Carbonara Smile Sep 01, 2013   (Related Review)

My second visit to Milk & Butter was a fruitful one because the first time I went, it was full house so I could only come back for the dessert. This time, I ordered their main course, the Fettuccine Carbonara but changed the pasta choice to spaghetti instead. It came pretty fast. The sauce is the thick cream type, which is my favourite. The amount of bacon, mushroom and cheese was massive. It was a pleasant surprise~! The taste of this dish was phenomenal too! Love the savoury, thick, creamy sauce which chunks of chesse. The al dante spaghetti texture and all the amazingly delicious ingredients makes this dish to die for. The presentation, the little garnishing, everything little thing about this dish say for itself. Perfection.

Cafe Latte Smile Aug 19, 2013

I'm not a coffee drinker but once I stepped into this coffee place, I was totally taken in by the amazing aroma of coffee beans. It literally filled the whole cafe and I was hesitating not to order any. So I took something recommended, which was the cafe latte. It was served in a medium sized glass with a beautifully drawn latte art on top. Even with just the art, I was sold. The coffee itself taste very strong. Every sip is fragrant bitter with some creamy foam to go with. The texture is very smooth as well. I heard that the barista is so popular that some regulars will only request coffee prepared by her. Will definitely come back again for another cup of joe.

Wagyu Smile Aug 13, 2013   (Related Review)

If the one dish that I would recommend in Kura, it's definitely the stir fried wagyu beef with vegetables. The beef is chopped in cubes and stir friend with slight oil. The meat came out to be medium well and super juicy! The meat is tender and cooked to perfection, truly something that came from a hotel restaurant. It's so mouth watering that I couldn't have enough of it. The vegetables were also stir fried, hence they are also juicy but did not lack on the crunchiness of their original form.

If you feel like a glutton, just order the pork chop with cream gravy. It's reasonably priced with a big portion and can possibly be shared. It came with 2 big pieces of pork chops, peas, grilled onions and mash potatoes. The meat was juicy and goes really well with the cream sauce. They were very generous with both the meat and sauce. The peas were fresh and provides a 'healthier' taste to the blend. The mash was a big of a disappointment because it's too soft and lack of taste. The grill onion was alright.

Beef Burger Smile Sep 30, 2013   (Related Review)

One of the food that the flamboyant waiter highly recommended was the beef burger. It arrived not too long later, but the wait was very worth it. The burger was sinfully delicious as it has a nice, thick beef patty. It comes with freshly chopped lettuce and a very well cooked egg. Apart from that, the burger also has a nice crispy bacon to go with. To top it all, it has a generous portion of mayonnaise and ketchup which makes it very delicious. The fries were very crispy and it goes very well with the chilli sauce which they provide.
