One of my favourite lunchtime restaurant is none other than Steam Room. It's dishes are consistently great and healthy. They uses very little oil and alot of the dishes are steamed, just like their name.

This time, I ordered the ginger pork minced meat steam rice. The ginger eliminated the porky smell of the minced pork since it's steamed. The ginger alone also was very fragrant. The pork was thoroughly cooked and went well with the rice and vege. There's absolutely nothing that I don't like from the dish.

It has been a long time since I had some mamak food. And I suddenly crave for curry. Then off I go to Kayu for lunch. I went to the dishes counter and start picking my dishes. I wanted some of their awesome fried chicken and nice looking vege and of course curry! Not to be missed were the papadams! The curry just made my day. Not too spicy but enough to make my senses tingling. Love the chicken combination with curry and crunchy papadam. The vege did not disappoint too. Even though the price is a bit high, it's worth it for quality, tasty food.

To complete the meal, I ordered the cafe latte while chatting along with my colleagues. There weren't much coffee aroma in the shop for a cafe with the name 'espresso' in it. So I didn't put much expectation with their coffee. The taste was alright. It's average in taste although nicely foamed. The milk was not strong enough and the coffee taste was just alright.

This is one of the most interesting chicken chop I've ever tasted. It felt like chicken cordon bleu with the insides spreaded out. The cheese was very cheesy and filling but goes well with the ham and chicken. Even without sauce it didn't feel dry, and I prefer it without the sweet and slightly spicy sauce. The portion was quite big and filling and the chips just made stuffed me to the brim!

I get to choose my choice of meat, sauce and salad. And my order is completed within 15mins due to a long queue.And this is the result of my combination wrapped together with a thin bread. On the 2nd mouthful, I manage to savour the meat, vege and sauce. In fact the sauces were overflowing when pressed. It was pretty delicious and a little bit messy. It's also pretty filling although it didn't look like it.
