Raisin Bun Cry Sep 30, 2013

When I went to SS2 Mall during lunchtime, they we just about to open. Lucky that they were in full operation during tea time.

This used to be my favourite but this is a disappointment. It used to be moist and sweet. But now, it's just sweet. The taste is still there but it's dry. I couldn't finish this simple bun without any drinks. I choked me. They were quite generous with the raisins though, I'll give them that.

Roti Hawaii Cry Sep 30, 2013   (Related Review)

Williams is famed for having 'no menu' and you can request anything under the moon and they will whip it out for you. But in this case, my simple roti hawaii took almost 2 hours to reach. I chased the workers numerous times and they don't even acknowledge me. Only when I say I want to cancel my order that they are willing to check. And found out that it's not even cooked.

When it was finally served, I was already beyond starving. I started to dig in but found nothing 'hawaii' about this roti. There's no pineapples! What is a roti hawaii without pineapples??? The insides were also dry and without mayonaise/chili sauce which roti hawaii should have. In fact, it was OUTSIDE of the roti, served as a sauce... But it's not suppose to be... The roti was only full of minced meat, sausage and more meat. Only the dahl and curry made it more bearable. I didn't make a fuss because I was starving and knowing their lousy service, making a complain means nothing. I don't expect them to change my order anyway.

So next time I will just order something 'safe' which everyone else orders...

Grilled Stingray Cry Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

Ordered the grilled stingray, as it was among one of the must haves when it comes to seafood. It was served very very fast, in fact it was within 10 minutes after ordering it. The speed of the dishes served were phenomenal and definitely well appreciated, especially since we were starving.

The grilled stingray was a little of a disappointment to say the truth. Perhaps it was because I was not used to the way this dish was made as it was not grilled to crispiness. Instead it was kind of steamed and therefore it was quite soft and not crispy as expected.

The sauce was quite nice, but it would be much more delicious if there were some crispiness on the fish. This dish costs RM24.50.

Fried Glass Noodles Cry Sep 26, 2013

When I thought there's nothing is bad in my favourite hawker stall, I found one disappointing dish. I ordered the fried glass noodles out of whim, just to try something new there. It came relatively fast. And it smells and looked good too. But I was utterly disappointed when I put it in my mouth. It was quite bland and the noodles was fried too soft. There weren't much meat or vege or even egg too...

POC Roast Cry Sep 22, 2013

Seeing there's a new restaurant nearby, I went to check it out. I ordered the Special Roast Pork for sharing and waited anxiously as I were quite hungry. To my dismay, it arrived with only a few pieces of roasted pork which looks like the ones you can get from any chinese kopitiam. To top it off, it cost blardy RM18 for such a small portion! Even the greens and potatoes were measly small in portion. Taste was above average, crispy skin but nothing to shout about. For that price and portion, I would at least expect a over the top taste and blow me off. But this is truly a disappointing encounter...
