Crispy chocolate orange hazelnut cake

The Harlot pasta is really delicious, tangy with a kick of chillie flakes. The shrimp is succulent and the portion is substantial.
Price : RM 29
For dessert, we ordered this flourless carrot cake to share. It was lovely, mum really enjoyed it. Packed with ground and slithered almonds, raisins, sultanas, shredded carrot and orange, with a generous mascarpone cheese frosting. Highly recommend this! Price : RM 18

We also ordered something this crispy chocolate orange hazelnut cake. It was nice, but i personally preferred the carrot cake more. It is rich and velvety, just the right amount of sweetness. Made up of several layers of distinctive texture, very impressive! Price : RM 18

If you happen to be in this area and you are craving for some good old Malaysian Nasi Lemak, this is the place to go! House+Co's nasi lemak is served stylishly on a large plate, together with your choice of beef/ chicken rendang or sambal sotong, huge crunchy ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber, egg, blanced kangkung and sambal. The par boiled basmati rice is so rich and fragrant that it leaves one craving for more! Price : RM 25

Chicken Stew

I tried the chicken stew with baguette. The use of spices like star anise and cloves makes this dish so comforting and warming, the baguette was warm from the oven. The kind of dish that brings back fond childhood memories. Price : RM 23
Asian Chicken Salad

Asian Chicken Salad

The asian chicken salad is light and healthy, consisting of a whole succulent chicken breast with steamed pak choy and crunchy bean sprouts, topped with ginger and organic sesame seeds. Price : RM 21 for normal chicken and RM29 for village chicken.

Good home made noodles Smile Aug 03, 2013

This place is always packed with locals, and it isn't surprising once you've tasted their food! The restaurant owner makes his own noodles from scratch, the texture and freshness of the noodles makes this place one of the best noodle shops in town. I usually order the green spinach noodles.

They offer a wide variety of noodles, from the classic char siew, phoenix claw, to minced pork (ja jiang) and even curry chicken noodles. What shocked me most was mutton noodles. My favourite is the smooth steamed chicken with mushroom.
Famous for their char siew noodles, be warned that if you come anytime after twelve chances are they will be sold out!

They also sell sui kows or dumplings.

This place is difficult to miss if you are driving along Jalan Yam Tuan. The shop is green and is located right after the traffic light at Dominoes pizza.

Frequented by many locals because it serves the best local dessert that everyone loves!

It stands out from all of the other cendol stalls because they use chilled bowls and they are generous with the red beans. It stays true to its name, so if you are craving for the old school cendol, haji shariff will not disappoint you!
It is as simple as it gets, shredded ice served with coconut milk, cendol and red beans- but it's the best.

RM 1.70 for a bowl of cendol ice with kacang merah.

They also sell indian rojak (Mee Rojak), and it is on a self service basis so you get to choose whichever items you like and at the amount you wish.

Recommended Dish(es):  Mee Rojak,Cendol

Spending per head: Approximately RM4(下午茶)

This is where the old timers go to for a good crab feast!
Sweet and sour crabs

Sweet and sour crabs

The sweet and sour crabs are served with fried buns so that every bit of that sweet and spicy gravy filled with egg and crab roe does not go to waste! Goodness soaked in lightly fried golden buns, sensational!
marmite crabs

Marmite crabs, sweet with a rich bang of umami with each lick. Just the right amount of stickiness.

The crabs are priced at RM 68.00 per kg.

You might want to come early as it gets packed with locals during dinner time.
