Our food is total Rm 47.50 include 3 rices, and 2 beverages.

Rice = Rm1.50 a bowl
Yap Zha Guai = Rm 2
Beverage = Rm 2
Lettuce with osyter sauce =  Rm 8
Bak Kut Teh = Rm 15 per person , so Rm 30

rice , alternatively, you can opt for oily rice.

Cute little dog I dont know the species name, but his eyes is literally puppy's eyes! Own by the store owner. and the store actually run by a family.

THe first dishes that serve on our table. The gao zha gui is actually a bit sweet  i dun like it. But the soup is flavourful!!

The store just located in seapark, next to the famous nasi lemak bumbung.

Lettuce is osyter sauce (Rm 8), top on with some fried garlic. YUm yum!! One of the best I had!! Nor it's too oily, a bit watery, but just nice!

the freaking Rm 30 Bak Kut Teh

unlike the usual Bak Kut Teh that has button mushroom, this one replaced with Shiitake mushroom. We 2 eater chose the one without internal organ, stomach or anything, just the pork meat. It come with variety of meat from different part. Like 花肉, or  just 肉, then肥又肉。

The bak kut teh soup is a bit salty to taste.

Otherwise, it would be a pleasant experience to eat here!

I am seriously getting excited while composing this. Let me start off with something negative, it cost us Rm 31.70 for the entire meal with 2 Teh Ais included.
FIrst time eating on table, not literally, but with a layer of aromatic banana leaf to serve it. Seriouslly, I don't find it any different eating on banana leaf or plate. But there is one moment, I accidentally poke the leaf, and a smell like mint, pleasantly waft into my nose.
Serving with 4 vegetarian dishes including yogurt cucumber salad, cabbage, koottu, and okra (lady's finger). Fried crackers knwon as Pa padum, and fried chicken (choose between fish or chicken) in huge portion.
This is for what Banana Leaf Rice, we also ordered Rasem and Moru (in Tamil) aka Lassi. Generally, all the dishes are heavily flavourful, it was not only tantalizing your taste bud, but your 5 senses. But none of this dishes are super spicy, so I can still go on with it, but teh ais is sickly sweet, recommend not to order sweet drink when you go with this, because it make me full at the half way of eating. Would rather drink plain water to pair with it, since I have rasem and moru already.
The moru is enchancing the appetite as ti taste sour, but rasem also sour what. The rasem unlike the typical one (where you can see through the bottom of the soup), the rasem here is thick, taste nice, but still prefer the typical one.

Eating in open air can be quite irritating, luckily there are air-conditional room to fit their patrons.
Verdict:
This restoran is quite desolate, but it's easily available on any road navigation apps. Damage RM 31.70 for this tantalizing gastronomical experience, their portion is huge it last 5 hours for me. Would still coming once in every blue moon!

Nasi Lemak Ayam: would come again Smile Apr 20, 2015

Categories : Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Noodles | Nasi Lemak

I am not the local, but since this is quite famous in Seapark, so I just the title so. What is so special about this nasi lemak?
1. The fried chicken (perhaps you can found it other place, but still delicious, seasoning with little herbs)
2. The sambal, is not the usual sweet and spicy but salty. And watery.
3. The egg is fried on burger pan(like how people fried burger patty)
4. Apparently, this stall were also famous for their ais limau, but It just taste more authentic, taste less sweet only lor.The teh ais that we ordered also less sweet.
Indo Mee Goreng, taste wise is pleasant, but texture wise, the mee is quite raw and a bit hard.
Overall we have spent Rm 16 in total. Rm 5 for a plate of nasi lemak, and Rm 4 on the Indo mee.
Verdict:
I expect anchovies and peanut when people talk about delicious nasi lemak, which is absent here. But somehow, it's quite pleasant to eat overall, would still come for the nasi lemak, and eat until I get bored with it lol
Supplementary Information:
It's cheap and delicious!
