Struck with a crave for eel, I ordered the Roasted Eel With Sesame. This set meal comes with a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup, and three side dishes.

The freshwater eel is grilled and seasoned with sweet sauce, similar to the Japanese dish unagi.

The eel is garnished with sesame seeds to give it an appetizing effect. For added flavor, shredded ginger and sliced lemon is provided too.

My choice is the Linguine Aglio-Olio With Prawns. The choice of pasta is up to the customer. The owner patiently introduced the different types of pasta in Italian restaurants.

The prawns used in this dish are quite large and fresh. I just love the taste of fresh prawns with olive oil. Overall, the pasta is smooth and appetizing. It feels like the linguine slithers down my throat like a smooth piece of silk.

The Triple Cheeseburger is similar to the Double Cheeseburger, except that it has an extra beef patty and an extra slice of cheddar cheese.

In other words, the stack consists of 3 beef patties, 3 slices of cheese and 2 pieces of hamburger bun. Some onions and pickles are included in a messy fashion.

This restaurant serves Chinese cooking but does not have a proper menu. The chef is familiar with most dishes, so customers can place customized orders or ask the server for recommendations.

We also ordered a plate of Kam Heong Clams (金香拉拉). The gravy is quite nice and has a flavorful spicy aftertaste. This dish is mostly inedible shell, therefore it is just meant as a delicacy instead of a proper meal.

The dinner tonight is a 7-course Chinese dinner. The usual price is RM650.00 for each table of 10.

The first dish is the Midland Court Five Combination. This assortment of appetizers include shrimp, scallops, fish cake, jellyfish, and braised pork with yam. The taste is decent but lacks the wow factor.
