Spicy Toppokki

Spicy Toppokki

Not really into korean toppokki neither the chinese stir-fried rice cakes. A little too spicy for me but overall still acceptable.
Spicy Chicken Set

Spicy Chicken Set

Not bad but if not mistaken I found some cuttlefish in the Spicy Chicken Set. Anyway, I like their side dishes but is non-refillable.
Pork Chop Set

Pork Chop Set

The pork chop really taste good. I suppose this the best out of the three.

Chicken Katsu Rice Burger Cry Jun 14, 2014

Chicken Katsu Rice Burger

Chicken Katsu Rice Burger

Soft and chewy grilled Japonica rice patties as claimed ? It was fluffy but not chewy at all. The rice burger fell apart at the first bite. Ended up having the hot katsu chicken separately from the rice burger. Picked up the rice using the chopstick ! Katsu chicken rice perhaps. Best of all, they has forgotten my order till I checked with them and only served 30 minutes later. This not even during peak hours of the day but close to tea time already mad

Clay Pot Loh Shu Fun OK May 11, 2014

Clay Pot Loh Shu Fun

Clay Pot Loh Shu Fun

Looking at the crowd during lunch time gave an impression either the food in this cafe really great or at reasonable price. I like loh shu fun and whenever there is loh shu fun in the menu I would not give it a miss. A good and nice loh shu fun is hard to come by in any cafe or kopitiam. The loh shun fun is served hot as it was in clay pot. Quite a big portion maybe due to it only came with an egg, some cabbage and I don't recall any chicken meat or dice as this is a halal cafe. I just remember myself digging only the loh shu fun from the clay pot and nothing else. Tasted quite bland without the pork lard.

Nice meal @ Yu Yi Smile May 03, 2014

Onion rice just nice with the onion fragrant and not oily at all. Good to eat it with other dishes but definitely not with bak kut teh as the strong bak kut teh taste will overcome the onion fragrant.

Claypot bak kut teh come with your choice of pork, enoki mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, button mushrooms, cabbage and chinese beancurd skin at RM 13.00 per pax. Bak kut teh in a bowl also available at RM 11.00 per pax but without all the mushrooms. The bak kut teh soup not overly salty and strong herbs went well with the white rice.

Looking for something a little lighter ? Try Yu Yi cantonese sang mee at RM 7.00 per pax. I like it very much as it was very simple and not a heavy meal. The noodles was light even it was deep fried before hand. Give it a try ladies !

Prawn Noodles OK May 03, 2014
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

Prawn noodles but the broth tasted more towards clear soup with standard ingredients of small prawn, pork slices, egg, water spinach and fried shallot as garnishing. It taste better when added in the chili paste provided into the broth. Perhaps the clear soup meant to cater for non-spicy eater and as for my case chili paste is a must for this stall otherwise is not called prawn noodles.
