Rasa Lain is very famous in Ipoh and even popular after Axian visit, we have to call upfront for booking to ensure we got a table. It started to get crowded after 6.30PM and hot seafood like crab and prawn are finish fast.

Their most recommended dish was the Tang Hun Crab. Very generous amount of glass noodles given. Crab sweetness, pork lard and ham added taste to the Tang Hun and little bit of pepper make it even perfect. Size of the crabs is larger than usual and fresh.

Muscle with Fish Ball (Left), Siew Mai (Top Right) and Har Kao (Bottom Right). Muscle with Fish Ball is something new which I never try in Penang before while Siew Mai and Har Kao is above average.

Some crispy stuff, overall taste good.

Chee Cheong Fun, one of the representative for Dim Sum. Chee Cheong Fun wrap in Char Siew and Prawn, topping with fried shallots and sesame, and sambai on the side. Chee Cheong Fun is smooth and prawn is very Q but the sambai given is not enough, anyhow you may ask for more if you like it.

Struggle to find a Chinese restaurant after our hot spring tour at Felda Residence, Sungkai. End up we just turn on GPS and look for nearest restaurant which is 17KM away but no choice as we are too hungry and desperate for food so we just head down to the restaurant located in Bidol, Restaurant Xin Tian Tian Lai.

Tau Fu RM12, Tau Fu cook with Ham and dried shrimp, a little bit of spicy. Recommended.

Dong Po Rou RM13, it doesn’t taste or look like Dong Po Rou as Dong Po Rou suppose to be a lot of fat and oily. This dish is not smooth and hard, not recommended.

Glass Chicken(Po Li Ji) RM13, it taste like sweet and sour chicken. Normal.

Tony Roma’s pretty famous in KL but too bad it doesn’t have branch in Penang. Hopefully they will open one in Penang soon.

Onion Loaf is very big portion, and surprisingly the onion is crunchy and juicy, the thickness of onion almost 5mm. Buffalo Wings is spicy and salty, not so nice.

The Original Baby Back Ribs RM60.90, Basted with TR’s Original or your choice of sauce.
It look small but the meat make you total full, unfortunately in Malaysia they don’t serve pork instead replace with beef.
Beef ribs grill with TR original sauce, sweet sauce and the beef ribs is very tender
According to my friend, in Singapore they server pork ribs, which sound more attractive.
