Sawara Restaurant is not new in the town instead it been around for quite some time and a lot review around the net, but this is my first visit to this famous steamboat shop and for sure the expectation is high as well.

Chicken meat is a little bit tough and not as good as expected, furthermore the black soy sauce is just salty and nothing special.

Isshin Japanese Restaurant situated in the heart of the FTZ Prai, Isshin is the biggest Japanese restaurant in the mainland Prai. A busy restaurant with expatriates and local. A wide variety of bento is available. We will greet with hand towel and small plate of dishes.

Teppan Bento A , beef tenderloin, cod fish, scallop, prawn, mix fried vegetable. This bento set is quite expensive because the portion of each is quite small, scallop is pretty small and taste like fish ball while beef is very chewy and we fail to swallow it.

Yari Ika Batayaki , imported giant squid in butter sauce. Squid is a bit chewy but not overcook like vulcanized tire texture, portion is big, season with salt and pepper.

Good ambient and nice decoration.

Seafood Tomato Soup, few small pieces of fish meat cooked in homemade spicy tomato soup. Just normal but prefer if they could add more fish meat or squid.

Aglio-Olio Prawn Pasta, Pasta cook with white prawn, garlis, red cut chili and olive oil. I was quite dissapointed with the pasta.

Seafood Tomyam Pasta, Stir fried seafood in rich and spicy Tom Yam Paste, It not really taste like Tom Yam instead is more toward heavy tomato taste. Normal.

Oyster Sauce Vegetable, boiled vegetable with oyster sauce and fried garlic on top. Vegetable is crunchy but less oyster sauce make it no flavor, luckily some garlic on top help to boost a little bit of taste.

Dry Bak Kut The (Medium ~ RM20), the biggest difference with normal Bah Kut Teh obviously, the lack of herbal soup. Inside this claypot is more or less the same ingredients with soup Bak Kut Teh, pork, pork ball, pork stomach..etc.
